Eugene is on fire...
Phil Night moving to Corvallis!
This has just been a messy year all around for Oregon Athletics.
"Ain't nothin' in this world for free."
worst for the indoor track teams.
ashton eaton is getting eatten alive out there, mens cross country is ranked all the way down at 3, i dont even want to discus the womens cross country- horrible, mens golf sucks they are ranked a laughable 14, everything in oregon athletics sucks, the whole year look at the football team they started and finished the years with losses, they are practicly at a community college level when it comes to sports
Flip cam FTW
Meh
Seems like not a big deal. I’m not sure what skills he had in the first place to be an AD and he’s the one who recruited all the guys who got in trouble. Thanks for the memories.
Andre Miller is an Anachronism
…he’s the one who recruited all the guys who got in trouble.
That’s been my main thought since the Blount punch, up through the latest fiasco. My first response to hearing this news is that Bellotti wanted to get out as fast as he could, leaving Kelly and others with a problem for which he is likely mainly responsible.
Still on the Rex bandwagon.
HAHAHA
Ducks suck. Nice program. Best money can buy

^This
Beavers fans aren’t even fans of of OSU, they’re stuck in an underdog complex of just hating the Ducks.
Duck fans want championships, Beavers fans just want to beat the Ducks.

Way to generalize, chief.
Was your reply to Flair trying to be equally as flippant?
"Ain't nothin' in this world for free."
Pretty much
The best man at my wedding is a Beavers fan and I’m sick of all the texts, e-mails, and facebook updates from him about the Ducks.
Andre Miller is an Anachronism
That's typically the norm....that's not to say Oregon doesn't have their share of ridiculous fans
but a lot of Beaver fans just want to see Oregon fail.
Also, Beavers hate Ducks because Ducks don't hate Beavers as much as they hate Huskies.
Disclaimer: everything I know about basketball I learned on Blazersedge.
Beaver hate for UO reminds me a lot of the tea party hate for Obama
There are some parallels there if you care to look

I don't hate the ducks...
They have every opportunity to have a very very good program and always choke. It will be crazy to see what they can do with Nike $$$ if football can start winning big games more consistently and they get a good hire for basketball. The resources are certainly there.
Mike Bellotti on the other hand has always been a little full of it.
I asked Oregon athletic director Mike Bellotti about that rumor that he will be leaving the AD post for a television job.
“Not that I know of,‘’ he said. "Nothing that I know of, and that’s the truth.’’
That was just two days ago. Nice.
He didn't "know" of it.
He “strongly suspected” it.
Disclaimer: everything I know about basketball I learned on Blazersedge.
I get that...
But that’s still just screwing around and not being straight up with the university and it’s fans.
relax
it’s a good opportunity for him, and he took it. don’t hate. he has done nothing wrong. You also have no idea how honest he was with the university.
C*mcast sucks!

This isn't a really big deal
If anything it’s good for the Ducks, since we’ll be getting our own Herbstreit or Palmer on the Worldwide Leader to pimp the program whenever possible.
I’ve seen three explanations for this news so far today:
1. Bellotti is abandoning ship before it sinks! – Wrong
2. Bellotti is screwing the Ducks! What a jerk! – Wrong
3. Bellotti is really good on TV and not as good at balancing budgets and sucking up to boosters – Correct
3 could be legit cept the timing
ESPN couldn’t wait three months until all this UO garbage wasn’t still in the headlines?
by Theghostofsomeonefamous on Mar 19, 2010 8:28 PM PDT up reply actions
Actually no they couldn’t. He’s supposed to do Spring Ball for ESPN which begins in April.
Hire Steve Alford!
Addicted to Quack
why wait?
if they have the deal, wouldn’t the honest thing be to let everyone know immediately?
Nothing he does will make people happy. people need to sit back and look at the actual picture and think about the guy like he is a human and just got a better job.
C*mcast sucks!

It was bound to happen, ESPN loves hiring d-bag no talent hacks
I guess being the AD of Oregon is as worse as it actually sounds.
I shouldn't complain but sometimes I still do.

Crazy about Bellotti, terrible timing.... then again maybe he knows that and doesn't care
or else some crazy ploy by Nike to restore UO’s image via ESPN
