There was recent discussion on whether or not the Blazers should go for LBJ this summer. My vote is no and this is the main reason. Wrong attitude.

Post-traumatic Jail Blazers-era disorder?
by cchellis on Mar 14, 2010 11:46 AM PDT reply actions 1 recs
I'm not a fan of it, but it's not worse than BAYLESS, Young Money, or a map of Florida with bullet holes on your back
Who's got what tats??
Ok here are my guesses
Florida with bullet holes: Steve Blake
Young Money: Juwan Howard
BAYLESS: Andre Miller
How’d i do?
I got rabbit footprints, ends of carrots, and a mailbox that says B. Bunny around my corn hole
I’m thinking about getting an Elmer Fudd.
"what's your tatoo of"
unzipping sound
“it’s a cute little panda….swinging from a branch!”

red'd Moflow
Juwan definitely is young money

I believ Young Money tattoo belongs to JR Smith?
I'm gonna be the only A-hole that owns a Nic Batum jersey that doesn't live in France. Awesome.
Just Checked...
JR Smith AND Brandon Jennings.
The Florida ink belongs to Udonis Haslem

Really?
If LeBron really wanted to come here, you would say no because of a tattoo?
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
my reaction also
the greatest player in this era and you turn him away cause of his tattoo

even though the tattoo is pretty lame
id give up anything to get him here. He is destroying teams with scrubs around him already.
Fan of Greg Oden, Joel Przy, Batum, and Andre miller
The Cavs are paying $85 million this year for LeBron and a bunch of scrubs.
Wow! Sounds like their GM should be fired immediately.
My money is on The Chosen 2

Don't tell him about Bayless' tattoo...

If we had the opportunity to get Lyndon B. Johnson and turned it down.
I’d cry myself to sleep until he retired.
Wearing the black band for Jarrett Jack, Ime Udoka, Fred Jones, Sergio Rodriguez, Channing Frye, Luke Schenscher, Shavlik Randolph, James Jones, Josh McRoberts, Steven Hill, Jarron Collins, Michael Ruffin, Steve Blake and Travis Outlaw. Sacrificed to the unmerciful god of progress.
is this post for real?
are you really serious you wouldn’t want LBJ here because of a TATTOO? he’s the best player on the planet – this is a joke right?
And bad attitude – everything they say about him is that he’s the best teammate in the league…

the bad attitude stigma all stems from the overblown "no handshake in the ECF" and the dancing stuff

best player on the planet
I don’t care what he does off the court.

the dancing stuff usually includes his whole team
but to say you wouldn’t take Lebron James because HE HAS A BAD ATTITUDE – with your evidence being a tattoo on his back that says Chosen 1 (which was his nickname that was printed on the cover of Sports Illustrated when he was in high school by the way) is just silly
And what hasn’t he done to live up to that. He’s the greatest athlete to ever play NBA basketball, period. Anyone who watched him play against us this year saw that, it was the easiest 20 point quarter I’ve ever seen a player have

what about taking away the dunk tape
from that rookie that dunked on him. I have no respect for him after that.
seriously?
a) he didn’t really get dunked on, he was just standing there when it happened
b) they weren’t even supposed to be filming those games, THAT’S why there was such a big deal about it leaking – it violates certain amateur status rules governing college ball players, Lebron didn’t play as big a role in that as it was made out to be (it was hyped to be more of a media story)
Bottom line – a video tape, tattoo, whatever – BEST PLAYER ON THE PLANET….don’t let little things skew your view

On the planet is a bit much
If The Air Up There taught us anything, it was that there is untapped potential all over the world.

My perception is that his talent is matched only by his ego
But I would take him in a heartbeat.
Holding out for Hedo
"1999, the year of the restoration"
guess which Blazer big man had that message tatooed on his shoulder?
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
Stupid tattoo....but the NBA is littered with em', and Lebron is the best player on the planet.
Plus, we can just make him cover it up with a real tattoo when he comes here……after he’s tired of getting shut down by Batum in the finals for 8 years straight.
