WOOT WOOOOOOOOOT!!!!
If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you’re gonna see some serious [stuff].
I haven't watched a Portland game in a while
thanks to their late starts so I think they owe me a big victory tonight.
Dang... can only find Sacramento based streams....
I hate listening to opponents’ announcers getting excited…
how does Tyreke get most of his points
I haven’t watched him play enough, but from what i’ve seen he is more physical and gets to the hoop and finishes pretty well, with a serviceable mid-range game
Mostly drives at this point
Which is why Batum kicked his ass last game.

Their guys are okay
They can be kind of depressing but with a bad team you’d expect that.

I've got Grooveshark on instead

Andre Miller takes a lot of stupid shots. It's like he is trying to compete with Roy and will get out of control to show everyone
he is good too.
Seriously, he's looked so off lately
forcing bad shots, and missing them. And he keeps running fast breaks by himself even if he has two trailers. It’s bonkers, and I bet TiH loves it.

I hate when he takes a jumper and bends down and stares at itto try and will it in
That’s okay if you’re bowling, but in the NBA you need to either chase your own rebound, or get back on defense. However, for the most part, I love Rex.
Cake or Death?
Notable first quarter stats
13 points for Roy on 4-5 shooting and 4-4 from the line
Blazers perfect from the line
Evans with 6 boards
Hawes with 16 f-bombs

Nate, it's okay to bring Roy back in. You don't have to sit him because you think it's good stategy.
We have been holding/extending the lead without him
might as well give him rest considering he had to expend so much energy yesterday.
Yeah, but he had 13 points in the first. Why let him sit so he can cool off. Nate usually knows what's best,
I just want to see Roy score a lot of points I guess.
by BRoyInThe4th on Mar 12, 2010 7:55 PM PST up reply actions
Fair enough
I just think if he can get rest on the 2nd of a back to back he should. I don’t particularly disagree with your point, I just see the reasoning behind giving brandon extended rest.
What was Bayless doing there?
he got the rebound and then jumped into the defender then threw an awkward pass
"In Batum's case he must realize he is very likely the first Blazer to successfully fight over a pick all season..."
-Ben
he got an offensive rebound, and got it to LMA in a good position to score. I swear, Bayless can’t do anything right these days. :)
#52
No kidding
he’s hitting his jumper and passing well. But if he does something that isn’t perfect it means he isn’t doing it right at all i guess.
he got lucky
and could have been called for the travel or an offensive foul
"In Batum's case he must realize he is very likely the first Blazer to successfully fight over a pick all season..."
-Ben
Bayless was out of control on that play
and ended up making something out of nothing
"In Batum's case he must realize he is very likely the first Blazer to successfully fight over a pick all season..."
-Ben
I already explained why I thought he was
the awkward jump into the defender that somehow wasn’t called a travel, thankfully
"In Batum's case he must realize he is very likely the first Blazer to successfully fight over a pick all season..."
-Ben
Bayless gets more crap for a good play that was almost bad than anyone else gets for a bad play. It’s super funny.
#52
but I've been saying the result isn't what I'm concerned with there
sure, it turned out well, but I don’t praise a good result off an ugly performance. It’s like when Outlaw used to take an awkward leaning jumpshot. Sure, he’d make it fairly often, but that doesn’t mean it was a good shot.
"In Batum's case he must realize he is very likely the first Blazer to successfully fight over a pick all season..."
-Ben
I want his jumpshot to come back to early season form!
"In Batum's case he must realize he is very likely the first Blazer to successfully fight over a pick all season..."

They spent a ton of time developing younger players when they had 20 or 30 wins.
That’s how we got Brandon and LMA.

seems like the type of guy that can always get a job in the NBA if he’s ok being an 10th or 11th or 12th guy for most teams.

If they tracked that with Wilt
he would have like 50 quadruple doubles.
2 refs not knowing which call to make. Then they give it to Portland? You just know they were going to try and
please the crowd by calling any touch foul on the next play. Or 3 seconds, or traveling if any player shuffled the feet slightly.

he’s going inside more, but just isn’t getting his shots to fall. He usually does well inside when he makes that first jumper, but past few games he just hasn’t been able to get that shot to fall at all, and I wonder if he’s rushing his post moves.
