still a bad game
we didn’t look like a play off team
I don't care about looking like a playoff team until the playoffs
For now, I want to win and get a higher playoff seed.

Nate did a great job here.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, Nate made key coaching decisions to get us the win. I’m not sold on Nate, but he did a great job tonight.

I guess… everyone knows you play zone to slow down the game. Where was it for the first 3 and a half qaurters?
well everyone was complaining about it
so it was there at some point (I was listening to the radiocast, so I don’t know)

Personally, most satisfying win of the season.
I can’t stand the Warriors and their video-game-basketball mentality. So glad I didn’t turn this game off.

What an ugly, poorly played game.

I think that we were VERY lucky to get the win
It was a really horrible offensive game plan for the first 3 1/2 quarters. Roy was a total ball hog , it might have been the orders of Nate though. We needed more balanced scoring and no one really stepped up until the last 5 minutes. Defense was embarrasing, letting the Warriors get whatever shot they wanted. We need to play a lot better if we plan on winning at Sacramento.

I don't think there's such a thing as "whatever shot they wanted" when it comes to the Warriors.
They just kind of heave it up there. Plus when Roy is on TNT, you keep the ball in his hands.
Life is hilarious.
Roy HAD to be a ball hog
nobody else could hit water from a boat.
Still Roy didn't score but like 3 pts in the last minutes.
Most of his points came when we were down. That was an ugly 41!
We needed LMA to get going to win
so Roy deferred. And hey, it worked!
Roy’s scoring kept us in the game and his deference in the 4th helped win it.
What is your point?

You think Blazers will be too tired tomorrow to get another W?
I know we’re 12-3 in 2nd of back to backs but we expended a lot of energy rallying tonight
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
its ok rudy and batum didnt play alot

They won another on the last road trip also right? Pretty sure.

Someone needs to tell Chuckster that if you take 37 FT
Haven’t been jumpshooting
Roybot: "Then he said "My girlfriend is from LA." to which I replied "Well then you need to find a new girlfriend."’
GS fouled a lot of our jumpshots apparently

So I saw only the second half.
And I was definitely end-of-the-world bemoaning as we went from 6 down to 16 down…that 3rd quarter was the dark side of the Blazers.
Luckily, the fourth quarter was exactly what we needed to do against the Warriors. They started taking 20 foot jumpers while we started taking it to the rack and getting offensive rebounds. So that part was fun, and I hope we play like that tomorrow.
Glad I finally watched a game with a positive feeling at the end, rather than a loss or a near-collapse.

I want the Warriors to win the Draft Lottery
Because how sick would John Wall be in Nellie-Ball?
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
What would they do with Curry/Ellis though?
"Good evening Blazer fans, wherever you may be!"-Bill Schonely
IDK but thats not the point
Wouldnt Wall be fun to watch on the Warriors?
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
Something no one is talking about
is the fact that the team who gets Wall might have to trade their PG and the Blazers could stand to benefit. Which of the bad teams are in desperate need of a PG? Pacers are about the only one.
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!

Nets and Wolves are 2 worst teams
If either wins the lottery, they would probably have to make a trade
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
Not necessarily
Minny seems to be pretty happy with a rotation of nothing but point guards and power forwards. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting that it works. They just seem to like it.
Still on the Rex bandwagon.

At PG they'd have:
John Wall
Johnny Flynn
Ramon Sessions
Ricky Rubio
Get well Greg! Rip City is still behind you!
Also, the nets need a 3 BADLY.
They would have a pretty decent starting line up of:
Wall
Lee
-
Yi
Lopez
So, let’s make the - Webster? Harris for Webby straight up? Maybe a second round pick as well?

But hey, It would be kind of worth considering. Hornets need a 3 as well, martell + rex for Darren anyone?

Mmmm, not saying salary wise, but if they get John Wall, talent wise we shouldn't give up both Rudy and Jerryd.
Especially considering how bad Harris has been this season.
You can measure skill and talent with your eyes, but productivity is shown through statistics.
I'm not positive I'd make the trade, but I'd seriously consider it
And I expect NJ to get offers that good or better. Just because they get Wall doesn’t mean they dump Harris for nothing. He’s having an off year, but he’s a known all star level pg.
Still on the Rex bandwagon.

I really don't know...
I think his level in Dallas was more honest. If he came here, he wouldn’t be in his top-2 NJ role.
On the other hand, mmm, talent consolidation…

against playoff teams, and that’s why we looked like such butt the last two games. But this year is looking more and more like a wash.

LMA had a sick block in the first quarter

Things we can in my opinion take from this game that are more/as important as the win
LMA doing some big time stepping up after being in a horrid funk in the 4th.
Brandon Roy is back, or at least very close to it.
Nate subbing on instinct not pattern and making 4th quarter adjustments that put the players in the best position to win.

Great to see the Blazers (especially Aldridge!) play well in crunch time for once, even if it was against one of the dogs of the NBA and their best players were fouled out. Today Golden State, tomorrow the L*kers?
We are due to for a win there sooner or later.

Man I wish I would have watched this game.
I made a promise to myself that I would never watch us play in GS anymore after last year. Something about that team in their house just gets my BP up big time. I hope this is a new era of beating the Warriors regularly at Oracle and not a fluke. Seriously, I rarely miss a game, but in the past I just get wayyyy too worked up when we play there. Sounds like Camby man is really starting to shine after tonights game. Go Balzers!!!

God he kills us. When we play him we should treat him like a superstar and just double immediately.
As soon as he gets a defender in ISO it’s over almost before he even makes his move and he gets to the line.

I like him kind of.
Just not against us. He’s pretty under rated and has been very steady and consistent in terms of getting to the line which isn’t easy. We have NO answer for him if he’s starting at the 4.

Was Dante in him at all? I would think he should do a pretty good job.

surprisingly, no
He didn’t play tonight, which was kind of confusing to me. Howard got killed out there tonight, he’s at a -9. I thought DC would do well in a game like this, but Nate had other ideas.

that's surprising to me too. Dante seems like a player that should do well against that retarted style of ball they play.

You’re lucky to have missed it. they were down by 12 and came back like 3 times.
I am perpendicularly pissed off right now!!!!!!
normally I love those rollercoaster games, but not at Oracle. That team just pisses me off.
I don’t know what it is. I hate watching us play them. They are exciting to watch for me, just not against the Blazers.

be careful what you wish for
“Man I wish I would have watched this game. "
Don’t be too sure. You may have missed the 4th quarter during your ambulance ride to the ER on account of the blood vessels you would have popped watching the first 3 quarters.
I always think about things like that
“is me watching the game at a bar instead of online gonna make the blazers play worse?”
“is me going to sleep and not watching the game gonna make the outcome different than if I watched?”
“Is me beating up this 8 year old girl to steal her balloon gonna change the way rudy fernandez shoots the three tonight?”

Still he was a man amongst boys out there tonight. Even LaMarcus offensive rebounded tonight. i think he had like 5.
