it makes sense.
Maybe Washington says no. Probably would have to add Rudy. I’d like a trade for Bosh to happen though, finally put our young players to some good use.
I'm not saying, I'm just saying.
i like it, but you got to think about chemistry
half of the Blazers roster is being traded
That was my one concern..
A lot of Roy’s friends would be involved in the trade, but in the end I think having a player like Bosh would offset that.

way too complex and too many players involved
1) two playoff caliber teams like the Blazers and Raptors aren’t going to trade away half of their lineups mid-season
2) Blazers won’t need Haywood after this year (when Oden and Pryz are back), and Marcus Banks sucks…bad deal for the Blazers considering what we give away
Not to be harsh! I know this is more wishful thinking!
I’d love to see us send Aldridge, Blake, and Bayless/Rudy for Bosh – I’d do that one in a heartbeat

Here is mine.

This is a little more realistic. All these players are already being talked about trading to these respective teams.
Haywood is only a temp fix to get Juwan less minutes and get LA playing in position. He only has one year and we do not have to do anything with him if Greg and Joel get healthy.
Blazers – Haywood
Wiz – McGrady, Webster
Rockets – Butler, M. Miller (not Andrea but Mike from the Wiz) and Blake
Its delightful, its delicious, its delug
I don't get it from the Rocket's end
They already have 2 SFs and 2 PGs and they add more without securing at least one big guy? Unless Daryl Morey has a huge man-crush on Caron Butler I don’t see why they make this particular deal…they’d probably be better off just trading TMac for Butler, Haywood and Mike James
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
Its a damn good trade if you ask me
We get Bosh but pay heavily for him (as we should), Wizards get two young players with potential in Martell and DeRozan with savings of around 7.5 million this summer and next while the Raptors get a replacement (as close as you’d get) for Bosh, another high level player and a young guy with a load of talent.
If this was on the table I would go for it, assuming an extension was agreed to upon arrival.
the Knicks don't want to add any 2010-2011 salaries, heading into the July FA market
so they’d say “no” to Przy unless they were certain he was going to opt out of his ETO
and Portland would want assurances that they could resign Lee beyond this summer

Though Bosh is a clear upgrade over LMA
There’s no guarantee he stays, and if he leaves then this is a lose.
Plus Joel is ours. He’s retiring here. I will brook no argument.
You can measure skill and talent with your eyes, but productivity is shown through statistics.
Toronto would love to make this deal
KP would hate it, but Paul Allen would probably veto him. Washington, and the complexity of the deal, would kill it however.
This is good work though, and certainly made me work to pick it apart. That’s a fair price for Bosh, if there were any way he’d resign here, and I think Toronto and Washington get better too (projected wins aside).
This is quality. Nice job.

Here is my idea of the day, with Orlando. It would work within roster and salary limits, and reportedly they even have interest in such a PG exchange.
Orlando's roster is already stuffed
it’s difficult to see how they could “make room” for 2 more players
You must really like Jameer Nelson and think he could be the future starting PG on a Blazer championship team. I’d rather pursue Tony Parker, assuming the Spurs ever make him available
But kudos for making a successful proposal to acquire a BYC player who Portland could really use (Gortat) Those are never easy to put together

They only have 13 players under contract despite appearing deep. This deal as constructed works perfectly fine.
It would also work without Pendy, but I would assume they want a young big back.
