They're the team I point to

when I worry the Blazers overvalue their own guys or are afraid of picking between two guys at the same position who to keep so you keep both, like they did with Deng and Nocioni. I’d get annoyed if people were always pointing to my favorite team saying “learn from their mistake.” Think about how we react when somebody mentions Bowie over MJ.

As bad a time as I've given VDN, he made sure the team knew how to beat Portland.

Nope.

I want to win the overall gold medal count

And Canada is our #1 rival for that.

Gotcha.

I have to admit I hate most official medal trackers that rate countries on how many medals they have overall, without considering the difference between a bronze & a gold.

So I’m with you (even though I’m half Canadian).

In Bayless I trust.

As always, you can find a Simpsons quote that applies

“You’re forgetting what the Olympics are all about: giving out medals of beautiful gold, so-so silver and shameful bronze.” Nobody wants those lesser medals.

They had won 6 games by 1 point

the announcers were talking about how clutch the Curling Cougar was for the first 9 ends and then they sounded devastated.

I just started watching halfway through 2nd qtr.

where’s Batum? Was he just warming the bench or was there another… uh… don’t want to say the word.

thanks

I read that he played 7 min. in the box score and began to worry.

Nic played 7

Marty 4
Rudy 9

Wings weren’t effective in their stints. We had success going small.

I figured that Webster and Rudy were just bricktastic

but, seeing low playing numbers with Batum had the wheels turning. He usually earns pt with his defense

by Oggbog on Feb 26, 2010 6:15 PM PST up reply actions

None of them came to defend in the first qtr

I was disapointed.

Most media guys would probably have been taken off

if they had Barkley’s driving incident, but I guess it didn’t affect his reputation, such as it is.

nice lol

i just turned to the Dallas-Hawks game and Kidd ran into the Hawks coach to try and get a foul

Batum doesn't use email,
he uses his mind to transmit his thoughts to other people. that is how he intimidates his opponents without ever talking to them

Maybe he thought it it looked like the coached bumped him

he could get a tech

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
