I feel like we have been able to own chicago out of late and their games have been helpful
in getting us back on track.
Tonight would be a perfect chance to continue that (perceived) tradition.
Chicago has been a real uneven team
They have been blown out by some bad teams but beaten some very good ones.
"Good evening Blazer fans, wherever you may be!"-Bill Schonely
We've got a 5 game winning streak against them.
It isn’t perceived , we should make it number 6 tonight.
And a 4 game streak of getting huge leads then letting the other team back
It’ll be interesting to see what happens if the Blazers are up by 15+ in the 3rd

Official Adrian Wojnarowski Hater.
The Ardent Optimist.
They thought they had a great nucleus, and it just hasn't come together
We understand the fears about that.
I’d personally let them be.
They're the team I point to
when I worry the Blazers overvalue their own guys or are afraid of picking between two guys at the same position who to keep so you keep both, like they did with Deng and Nocioni. I’d get annoyed if people were always pointing to my favorite team saying “learn from their mistake.” Think about how we react when somebody mentions Bowie over MJ.

league, I'm assuming.
and they’re not pace adjusting. We’re actually bottom half defensively, and 6th offensively.
Yep I know
Whenever you hear an announcer say that, it means you know they didn’t do their homework.
Exactly
Rice uses total stats that make the blazers look better is a little deceiving, but you know he puts in work to find those numbers

It's all part of the plan
They’ll let the Bulls go up by 35. The Bulls were hoping to let the Blazers lead be 25, but all their jump shots went in.
Juwan Howard has decided six possessions
Three were missed shots, two were turnovers, and on the other he converted 2 FT’s.
Has Roy been rusty all YEAR then? I think Roy has missed AT LEAST one free throw most of the season.
He needed to practice free throws and maybe he did.
your memory is wrong
If you shoot 77%, you have to make both at least 54% of the time. (excluding and-1s).
Now realizing that you probably meant one free throw a game.
Sorry. Although 77% isn’t aweful.

I've decided Taj Gibson reminds me of Jeff Green

Very nice.

I think the Blazers are finallyl getting it together as a team...increased playing time
Webster is hot trash
good kid, but bad player. Well not bad, just horribly inconsistant, one of these games hel get hot though, just a matter of time
Odenized
Just need to find the right mix of players to put out there.

non-pretty halves that end with the Blazers down only 1 encourage me.
cause i always think they will play better in the second. hopefully i’m right.
i don’t know what CHI is shooting now, but that will probably go down too.

ah...lower than i thought.
i thought they might still be about 58-60. yeah, they probably won’t fall too much. maybe to 52%.

I'm sure Hakeem will cool off
He’s missed his last couple of jumpshots. Taj needs to be taken to school by LaMarcus.

LaMarcus is killing
Taj and Hakeem absolutely cannot guard him.

Bayless has baby arms
and he’s our best defensive guard. Granted, on the Blazers that isn’t a huge accomplishment.

2nd qtr was much better
Took advantage of some mismatches and their inferior talent.

FAIL CANADA!
CAnada chokes x2, hands Curling gold to Sweden.

:( That is sad. Hasn't been the best year for Canada.
In Bayless I trust.

I want to win the overall gold medal count
And Canada is our #1 rival for that.
"Good evening Blazer fans, wherever you may be!"-Bill Schonely
Gotcha.
I have to admit I hate most official medal trackers that rate countries on how many medals they have overall, without considering the difference between a bronze & a gold.
So I’m with you (even though I’m half Canadian).
In Bayless I trust.

As always, you can find a Simpsons quote that applies
“You’re forgetting what the Olympics are all about: giving out medals of beautiful gold, so-so silver and shameful bronze.” Nobody wants those lesser medals.

They had won 6 games by 1 point
the announcers were talking about how clutch the Curling Cougar was for the first 9 ends and then they sounded devastated.

You play with fire that much
You get burned sooner or later.

I just started watching halfway through 2nd qtr.
where’s Batum? Was he just warming the bench or was there another… uh… don’t want to say the word.
No injury
Dante and LA were doing work.

Nic played 7
Marty 4
Rudy 9
Wings weren’t effective in their stints. We had success going small.

I figured that Webster and Rudy were just bricktastic
but, seeing low playing numbers with Batum had the wheels turning. He usually earns pt with his defense
None of them came to defend in the first qtr
I was disapointed.

totally! I saw that!
he was dancing, doing the brush the shoulders off thing! He stopped when he saw that he was on camera! that was so funny
Most media guys would probably have been taken off
if they had Barkley’s driving incident, but I guess it didn’t affect his reputation, such as it is.
well done
Kidd can still ball even though he’s an old fart

nice lol
i just turned to the Dallas-Hawks game and Kidd ran into the Hawks coach to try and get a foul

Maybe he thought it it looked like the coached bumped him
he could get a tech
