Deron Williams upset
Bitter, upset, pissed off is the only way to describe comments from #utahjazz players.
Deron Williams when asked about team not imprroving for this season, "that is why I signed a three year deal"

Did Portland cause all this?
You could certainly make the case that Portland’s big offer sheet for Milsap has forced them into both the Maynor and Brewer deals. If we’ve pushed a division rival to drop two promising young talents for little return (nothing in Maynor’s case, and a draft pick in Brewer’s), then that Milsap offer was a great move. If we’ve pushed them to alienate their franchise player, then that’s icing on the cake.
The Milsap move was smart either way
It’s paying off right now.
Official Adrian Wojnarowski Hater.
The Ardent Optimist.
It looks like it
We’ve really forced Utah’s hand in a lot of ways. Great move by our FO.
I'm not saying, I'm just saying.
Utah caused this by giving undeserving players gigantic contracts.
Something Portland is working on doing to themselves right now.
In Bayless I trust.

We can also chuckle about
Hedo and the Raptors, and Vince Carter and the Magic. LOts of people were really disappointed we didn’t land those guys. I say we’re lucky.
we should offer 2 protected 1st rd picks for Deron Williams.
The Grizzlies got Ronnie Brewer for 1, why cant we get Deron Williams for 2? lol, now lets go pass up utah, dallas, san antonio, seattle/okc and phoenix in the standings for the 3rd seed; Brandon Roy or no Brandon Roy.
i know i was just trying to make it similar to the memphis trade
and its obvious i was kidding anywayz
Oh man. I get funny feeling in pants thinking of a DWill, Roy, and Greg line-up.
"What people need to know is that those pictures were taken a year and a half ago, and I've grown since then." - Greg Oden
meh... Roy would probably just complain about not being able to get into his rhthym.

i wouldn't want him, he'd just be another in a long line of blazers with messed up heads and hair
the sabonis brow ridge
the walton ginger lincoln
the oden neck furters
the pippen head furters
the drazen “roy firestone” hairline
dinasour type of guys choir boys
You forgot the Sheed cigarette burn in the rug, the Peter Gudmundsson party mullet, the Uncle Cliffy Boyz 2 Men, the Billy Ray Bates/Kelvin Ramsey/Calvin Natt helmets, and miscellaneous Darnell Hillman wannabes.
2010-11 dream lineup: Oden/LMA/Batum/Roy/Dre; Okafor/Freeland/Cunningham/Webster/JB/Pendy/Mills.

Ransey, not Ramsey – got Dr. Jack (RamsAy) stuck in my head.

the Dr. Jack lava dome
not to be soon forgotten, we also safely say that he doesn’t know the meaning of “tweeze”

sheed's spot is from ringworm as a kid since he was poor.
i don’t pick on poor people.

I'd be pretty pissed too if the blazers up and traded a starting player without anybody nearly as good to step into that spot
He was their best perimeter defender too. It is a lottery pick though, the Jazz are going to have a couple of nice young players next season…
RUDY > MJ
Thank you KP
This summer
Miller, Joel, and Rudy for Deron Williams.
Re-sign Camby. Draft a backup SG, but mostly we’ll use a Roy/Williams/Bayless rotation at the guard spots, Bayless backing up both spots.
Give Blake the MLE in 2010!
Farewell to #2 and #25, good luck to you!
#7 #10 #52 -- #5 & #88 are back!

somehow I get the feeling
that Utah would prefer to deal with just about any other GM than KP at this point

They can throw a fit if they want.
Anyone can offer free agents money.

Eh?
I was responding to jscot’s hypothetical trade…a deal which BTW included Rudy who the owner said is off limits
D-Will won’t be FA again for 3 years, and who knows that Portland’s needs will be, by then?

Rudy is NOT off-limits
if the deal brings back Deron Williams, that’s about 99.9% certain.

then I guess KP will have to wait until Paul leaves town
and make the “Rudy trade” and tell Mr. Allen that he couldn’t get ahold of him and the deal was “too good to pass up” Here’s Filippi’s quote again
"Paul Allen, just like I said, he loves our team, but if Rudy is not his favorite he´s definitively one of his favorites. And that´s one reason why Rudy is considered untradable. The opposite teams wanted Rudy Fernandez …broke the deal, Paul Allen, our management, say no way, Rudy is untradable, it´s like Brandon Roy.
There was speculation that Patty Mills wasn’t Nate and KP’s first choice to make the roster coming out of camp, but that the owner likes quick PGs so Mills “unexpectedly” made the cut. Ask yourself, who owns the team? This is not earth-shattering news. There are lots of owners of pro franchises who hire GMs and then tell them what they should do. KP has said that he has to “sell” deals to Allen in the past. The trade has to “make sense” both short and long term, on-court and for the owner’s balance sheet. If Paul likes Rudy, it doesn’t matter what you or I think, Rudy will stay.
Bottom line: no other team is going to offer KP more for Rudy than what the owner already thinks he worth. So we might as well remove Rudy’s name from any future trade speculations, he’s not going anywhere (unless he does something that pisses off the owner, of course…)

I am really digging this.
We’d be set at every position. Now all we need is for Deron to subtly let Utah management know he wants to be traded.
i thought this was funny so i made this trade

we would have to re-sign camby
