I'm a T-wolves fan who would love to pry Rudy Fernandez away from you guys and put him in a starting role with Ricky in Minnesota. In that light I've dreamed up the follwing trade idea and would love to get your input on the trade:
Knicks Get:
Blount (MIN) and his expiring $7.9M contract
Juwan Howard (PORT) (I'm also going to say they buy out his $825K contract so he can go back to Portland)
Travis Outlaw (PORT) and his $3.6M expiring contract and he's out for the year
Wolves get:
Jeffries (NYK) and his 2 year $6.4M deal (cuts next year's cap space in half for Wolves)
Rudy Fernandez (PORT)
Portland gets:
PF David Lee (NYK) and his expiring $7.0M contract. Fills a glaring, though temporary, need in the front court for playoff push this year.
