I just threw Steve Blake and James Jones in there because I don't really like Blake. It still works with out them though.

Think about it, we get a solid big man in Jamaal Magloire with lots of NBA experience, a small, one year contract. A big who knows our system and knows our city. Plus, if we want, we can pick Patty back up after the season's over. If Big Cat doesn't work out, we don't have to use him and can just wait until Greg Oden gets back. What do you think? I know it's a small trade, but it makes sense to me.

Patty Mills for Jamaal Magloire, both have one year contacts for under 1 mil.

Could also throw in Blake for James Jones.

but since you involved the big cat, this one is okay. but mills has more of an upside so I don’t see this working. and blake for james jones??? Schnarf?

If you look at Hollinger’s analysis, it says it won’t affect the winning percentage of either team. Hollinger’s stats are just made up so you gotta take his crap with a grain of salt. Yet, even if Hollinger’s analysis is totally out of his butt, if you are trading a guy who gets no minutes and it still doesn’t change anything, then it seems like a trade for trades sake and not worth doing.

Magloire?

I didn’t think he had been playing the past two years. He was a turnover machine in Portland and I would rather look elsewhere for help. If that is all that KP can do, I would rather have Blake and the possibility that Mills could develop into at least a back up PG.

Getting rid of a PG makes sense.

Getting rid of 2 PG’s and bringing in another SF does not. Neither does getting Magloire back. He’s not what we need at this point or in the future. No thanks.
