A home game. Imagine that. The Blazers will come home to Portland to play the league's worst record team, the Los Angeles Clippers. This game, the Blazers have to win. Not because of their record, not becuase the they are home, because they have to. For confidence and for us fans, to let us know they can still be a playoff team.
Blake Griffin will be a challange, and Chris Kaman just returned last night of a loss, scoring just 10 points with 5 personal fouls, attached with 6 rebounds and a blocked shot. Still Kaman has been someone to play well against the Trail Blazers. Back to Griffin, he's having one hell of a rookie season. Averaging 20.6 ppg, 11.7 rpg and 2.7 apg. Camby should end up getting the assignment on Griffin, or let's hope so.
If the play is anything of late for the Trail Blazers, they will loose this game. This time though, there will be no more excuses, there will be no "We didn't hit our shots" or "We turned the ball over more then we had field goals". Someone will be to blame, and I don't think it's going to be any players. Nate needs to be careful, or his time here in Rip City, could be cut short.
