I know everyone is depressed because Rich Cho gave Nate a horrible roster for this season and KP had a habit of drafting injury prone or gutless players. If you're not contemplating jumping off one of the many bridges in Portland upon realizing the Blazers are the Cubs of the NBA, you should take the time to watch the Civil War. I guess the SEC title game will be intriguing as well.
The best man at my wedding posted this on Facebook:
yo yo yo, me on ESPN.
2:45 mins in, pouring a cold one.
Out of all the xuck fans that I work with, they chose to show a picture of me, A Beaver. Ha!
It's sad that he's scared of the Ducks like so many Blazers fans are scared of the Lakers. The Beavers and the Ducks are practically family. I root for the Beavers all year except for the Civil War. Their fans sometimes tick me off due to their superiority complex, and the fact that they give up on the season after one loss and just focus on the Civil War.
I will be one of the few Duck fans who will be rooting for a close game. Blowouts are boring and I think it is more demoralizing for the losing team to have the win snatched away from them in the last seconds of the game. If it is a blowout by halftime, I have trouble paying attention to the rest of the game. Especially if it is my team that is getting blown out.
