Missing Juwan...
With all the uncertainty, the terrible developments regarding Roy and Oden, the sadly comical series of injuries to practically everyone on the roster, the six-game losing streak (to what Charles Barkley would call TURRABLE teams).... I find myself wondering, what if Juwan was still on the roster?
Perhaps that means we weren't able to sign one of our rookies, or Patty Mills. It implies to me that we'd still have Bayless, in that case, too...
But I think about all that Juwan brought to the "Overcome Adversity" Blazer team of 2009-2010. His mentorship to Brandon and his loyalty to rookies like Pendergraph...his bench-clearing dunk over Kaman...we could use some of that right now!
I miss him and wish he was still wearing red and black in Portland, instead of red down in South Beach. I think they have enough "talents" in South Beach, and I wish we still had Juwan as a Blazer.
Anyone think otherwise?

I definitely agree.
But I don’t mind that he’s gone. Of course, I’d be happy with his presence, but hey, I could understand his move to the beach. Gotta get a ring before retirement, huh? Maybe he’ll comeback to Portland for one more season and tell us how to beat the Heat.
Yes, I miss him also!
Definitely prefer Juwan to Marks. I also miss Penderbreast!

lol. what?
that sounds wrong. I won’t go into details, but take one letter out and put in another, and you have a very awkward phrase on a sports site. lol.
Pendy's got manboobs?
Whoa dude, you gotta think a long time before you start rumors like that.
Free markets have long been the basis for a legitimate - though rightly debated - economic policy framework. But they have become little more than a robotically-recited cultural catechism, a mindless mantra mumbled to mask the looting of the nation's resources that is the true purpose of Republican economic policy as demonstrated by the staggering upward transfers of wealth that inevitably occur under Republican regimes. A more complete, conspicuous, catastrophic, and irrefutable repudiation of right wing leaders, right wing policies, and right wing ideology could not possibly be contrived.
I have a different mindset.
Let’s face it, we’re not winning a championship this year. Marks is less of a role in both offense and rebounding. As such, that requires younger players to step up more in scoring and leadership. I’d rather Marks get 1-2 touches a game than Juwan get 7-8.

Juwan was nice...
I liked the guy, but there are a lot of players i would prefer to have opposed to him. He’s a good guy to have at the end of the bench, but your team is in trouble if he is playing any considerable minutes.

We weren't crazy to let him go, but I wish he was still on the team.
Andre Miller - The most underrated best PG of all time.
Who would have known ....
At the time the Blazers let Howard go, who would have known ….
1. Oden wasn’t coming back.
2. Pryzbilla’s return would be delayed.
3. Pendergraph would go down for the season.
Probably the right decision at the time, but it would be great if he were here now.
