Around the beginning of the season, i made this. I say it is high time or another.

Let's take a look at these videos; thank you to brandonmitchell

ƒor much of his career, my biggest beef with LaMarcus was him doing the pick and pop, as apposed to the pick and roll. I am not sure if this was on him, Nate or on the guards. Whatever it was, I think it is safe to say that he is doing it now. In Dallas, Andre and LMA were pick and rolling in the fourth, and now it is Rudy and LaMarcus doing on a game by game basis.

As or other things mentioned in the previous post, LaMarcus is currently 7th in the NBA in offensive rebounds per game--ahead of Dwight Howard.

He is 10th in FTAs per game among power forwards--ahead of "bruisers" like Paul Millsap, Zach randolph and DeMarcus Cousins.

How long can he keep these numbers up? I don't know. But I do know that he is changing his game. He is no longer simply a pick and pop forward, he is playing the post and he is rolling to the hoop.

The only Blazers Jersey I own is LMA!

Ive always loved LMA. And lately hes really ben steppin up. That was a great pass from Rudy. Sometimes Rudys passes are just to crazy for people to respond to and make a play, but that was perfectly placed so LMA could stuff it in (Bogus’) face. See what I did there?! LOL

Such an awesome sequence

Steal…Wes to Rudy with an over the shoulder lob at full speed to LMA for the flush. No-one even broke stride and it all took about 4.5 seconds.

although i wish i could say otherwise...

John Stockton and Karl Malone were the best pick and roll pair I have ever seen, and I don’t see anyone matching their production out of that particular play…
that said, I am absolutely loving what LMA is doing right now, its so drool-worthy. Hes becoming more Amare-light, and far less Dirk-light. That said, I can finally actually see him becoming a truly complete high post player… makes me so very happy.

I've never hated LMA.

Honest. (I was the one who wrote “For Lamarcus Aldridge…” on iamatrailblazers.com. Lol, had to say that.)
I don’t know about you guys, but it makes me feel a bit better thinking that Aldridge is what you get when you take half of Roy’s skill, take half of Oden’s skill, and mush it together. A finesse bigman!

You are absolutly right.

I respect your opinion, especially as you are able to tip your hat to good play. Some people are more rigid in their like/dislike of a player. I hope he can keep up this good play. It’s kind of hard to imagine, but it could happen. I would like to see him play this well alongside a good center, like Camby.
