I might of gone over the top with the video but I thought it was stupid how Jason Puckett was super serious about the three goggles should stop.
I seriously hate watching blazer coverage outside of blazersedge and official blazer news for this reason. Just a bunch of dudes that seem to find something to complain about, even things like the three goggles.
Just a bunch of dudes sitting in a circle who pretend they know everything about every sport when in reality they are just stirring something up and complaining.
I find blazersedge to be less bias/complaining and more enjoyable than the people who get paid to do it.

LOL
seriously, who are these people?
They might want to do their research before opening their mouths. They don’t even know where they originated from.

That's probably a lot to ask though.
Talkin’ Ball should just cease to exist.

Seriously, I like Dwight Jaynes but the show is just hard to watch sometimes. It’s not real Oregon/Blazer coverage its more like complaining and whining to stir something up. It’s like TMZ/Perez Hilton for Blazers.

That was my first reaction
This segment didn’t bug me that much (though I’d have a hard time watching these for a half-hour or whatever), but it seemed kind of strange that no one there knew the story. Or perhaps, someone there knew the story but didn’t bring it up because it didn’t fit his agenda?
Wiggada Wiggada Zers!
Who the hell are these people
the only one i know is dwight, the other 2 guys just look like scrubs they picked up from a local bar. These guys get paid for this crap?
The Camby man

This is Talkin’ Ball and how the shows are usually. They are only interesting when they have Pendergraph or Ben on it where it’s more breaking down the blazer performances. But when they can’t find real guests (although I will admit that comedian on was pretty funny) then it turns into like blazer celebrity gossip.
It just kills me to watch it sometimes.

as long as they are hitting their shots
they can do cartwheels for all I care. seriously, they are having fun out there. what’s wrong with that? it’s kind of like the Dikembe finger wag, of course it’s corny, but it’s also getting in the other guy’s head.
go blazers!
It seems like that entire squad plays better when they’re having fun and playing like a team. I don’t get how enjoying playing well/hitting a shot is bad.
Sad...
I love how they ask where the googles came from, yet its been explained in depth by Casey Holdal already and briefly during a Blazer game from Mike and Mike where the googles orignated from. Send these guys to the same place Tony Luftman went please.
I get enough Dwight on the MSP, definitely dont need a night cap of him too.

do you have a link I am out of the loop
witty statement here
If the prospect of donning the three goggles helps Rudy, Wes, Patty etc made a three...
than I’m all for it. Even if it’s a 0.01% incentive. Honestly, who cares…it’s an in-joke that the guys are having fun with.
I thought last nights talkin ball
was one of their better shows. The goal of that show is not to be 4 experts breaking down the game, it is to have a few guys talking about it afterward, and I think they have that down pretty good. I love the idea of bringing in “non-expert” fan types like the comedian to give that perspective. Two of the guys on last nights show were Seattle guys, including the guy who didn’t like the 3 goggles idea, (which I think is stupid as well, but to each his own). It gave a bit of an outside perspective, which is something I enjoy and why I will watch the National feeds instead of Mike and MIke when given the chance.

I enjoy it time to time but a lot of times is seems their objective is to find something to stir up, its more gossip than ‘talkin’ ball’ . Even if the team is doing good you can expect a Canzano article here shortly about a player doing something morally wrong in his opinion or nagging the coach or making up stories about the owner. Then the bi-polar effect you have Quick’s overly happy article then a week later he says something dumb like the Rudy comments.
Local based Blazer (oregon) coverage media is a joke now. A lot of times it’s so centered around the bad things that even when things are going well they still focus on the bad things (meaning that is ALL they talk about, they stop covering the Blazer performances and have become a half assed debbie downer reporter). You see it now with Mike Barret/Mike Rice on TV too, they over exaggerate whenever a player goes down. Trying to point out left and right people are falling down (They did this with Wesley Matthews, then Matthew’s came back and played like a minute later).
Sure I like the fact of non-experts talking about basketball as well, I do that with my friend. But when it is literally the focused media coming from our state is ridiculous. Does it need to have it’s own show to nag all the time?
I mean if I want to see the real ups and downs just go to blazersedge and you get real input from hundreds of people, not 4 dudes sitting around a table. Blazers go on a winning streak then suddenly they are praising them, but still nagging on pointless stuff. I remember when the Ducks won the Civil War and the Blazers were in the middle of the 6 game losing streak and they pretty much refused to talk about them at all.
Blazer coverage here is very bi-polar and constantly contradicting everything they say. One week it is “Man this team is amazing!” then the next week its “We need to trade everyone!”… and again this is not just a bunch of fans posting on a website. That kind of stuff is normal for fandom, but when it comes down to THE PEOPLE REPORTING WHO ARE SUPPOSE TO HAVE CREDENTIALS, it makes us look bad. I can see why Bill Simmons nails the Blazers sometimes.
I can also see why the Blazer players and within the organization have become so quiet in interviews. Before it was all fun, laughing at times and they did good. Now they refuse to comment, dodge questions (Cho won’t even answer) because they know our joke of a ‘media’ here will go out over hype it and treat it like celebrity gossip.

'("oo")'
I’ve been trying to figure how to do the goggles on the keyboard (wayyyyy to much time on my hands now that schools out), but this is the best I can get. Anyone got anything better?
Mike Rice: "Camby nearly rejected that with his Armpit!"
Mike Barrett: "Now that would be a fragrant foul."
