Daniel Gibson
Along side all the firepower the blazers have couldn't his knock down 3 point shooting spread the floor more to give players like LA and up and coming Wesley Matthews more space to work with in the paint. Whats your thoughts, should we pursue a trade for him? We could send them a expiring contract or some draft picks to help with their rebuilding and we get a young 3 point shooting point guard.

Boobie Gibson
Only thing I would be worried about is the defense, he is a lights out 3 shooter though. An added bonus is him and LaMarcus Aldridge played together at UT. I’d be for it, but cautiously skeptical until I see how it works out on the floor, and how McMillan reacts to a player who isn’t exactly defense oriented besides #7
I like the thought of Luke Ridnour. He has experience in McMillan’s “system”(if you could call it that !). Cho was a part of that Sonics team that drafted him. He is shooting 3’s at the highest rate of his career.
The future, Conan?
agreed
Luke would b a great fit too. Him being a northwest native wouldn’t hurt our chances either now if we could pull off a trade to get him and bring K-Love back to Oregon that would be probably one of the smartest moves the Blazers organization could make at this point. I saw this and got very intrigued.
Most of those trades look like pipe dreams and any trades where we lose LA doesn’t seem smart because he is a huge piece in our future. We’ll see what happens but i hope Cho can pull of something big cuz thats what we need right about now

K-Love
I’ve been wanting to swap LA for K-Love since he came into the NBA. I’d do it still, even with LA starting to show signs of inside scoring & some toughness.

LA and K-Love
do u think theres any possible way they could play together side by side?

why would the T-Wolves trade K Love?

Kevin Love is overrated
Also, I’d say Cleveland are more keen to trade Mo Wiliams than the cheaper but similarly effective Boobie Gibson.

Hmm
So with that trade, you essentially send our team back to the 2006 nba draft, and we just forfeit the Roy pick.
The future, Conan?
is it not a good trade?
witty statement here
I didn't say that...
But if anyone is dumb enough to take on Roy’s contract, its Kahn.

Patti Mills > Gibson
Patti has international experience and Olympic experience and shoots the ball as well and passes better than Gibson. We just need a coach that trusts young players or doesnt bench them after 5 minutes in which they are doing good things only to never put them back in the game. Patti had 3 assists in 5 minutes last game and Nate pulled him and put Roy back in to run the point and the tempo slowed and shots dryed up.
New Coach before trades so we can actually evaluate our young talent please!
Besides they aren’t winning the title this year anyway so by default they avoid the only other definition of "waste" that matters.

i was having this exact conversation today about Nate destroying young players confidence but yanking them from games, Batum is taking the worst of it right now although i am glad about what he’s doing with Wesley cuz hes a baller! Mills’s got the game we need just needs some experience. I also liked Armon’s play and i’ve been meaning to ask… what happened to his minutes? he seemed like he was getting consistent back-up minutes and now disappeared for a while. why?

Armon was stripped of his minutes..
After a few poor games and cheap turnovers. You know nate! While i think its unfair on him… Patty had never received a chance all of last year, so im glad he’s playing now. Patty is starting to pick up the offense now. If he can just start drilling those 3’s more often he’ll start to see even more PT.

patty ftw
ya patty is a beast hes is exactly what we need in a player, great person and great character, now if Nate puts him more he could develop into a solid number one pg. If he gets time in clutch situations he will flourish like he does in FIBA. He’s pretty compairable to damon stoudamire but patty is a better person to be on our team.

Patty will never be a true #1 PG
His ceiling is somewhere between JJ Barea and Aaron Brooks – ie. a defensive liability that is pretty good on offense.
That isn’t the starting PG I want – could be a great change of pace backup, but not a starter.
Greg on suits "I am going to look good, that is the statement that is going to be made with my suit".
He wil be.. you watch and see.
defense can be taught.. you can’t teach natural speed, instinct and will to win. He schooled cp3, deron and kidd in the olmpics – i don’t care what you say.. thats what he did so i tell u the facts. He got the better of curry when davidson met st mary’s and he doesnt see size as a ceiling. celing this ceiling that.. hes the same height as cp3.. when he puts on a little weight and improves his d.. you’ll see what i mean.

a winner with a good attitude will succceed.
someone who only sees deficiencies and limitations will not – to negative, to safe.. not taking risks.

ya give him some time (mainly playing time)
he will get there his defense isnt terrible he atleast has the speed to keep up with the likes of cp3 and rondo, with his work effort theres no limit to his skillz

Armon's play was atrocious during that stretch
Nate (and us) wanted to win…stripping AJ’s minutes was the right move at the time. Now with the trade rumors and everything, if we do raise the white flag he will see plenty of floor time. I know that we want him to develop.

Would Jeff Teague be worth taking a run at if he can be had for cheap?
Seems like he has potential, and he’s buried on ATL’s bench
for sure
hes a baller ive been saying this all year hes got what we need and could be obtained for very little while bibby still can somewhat play but we need to jump on that now

That boy can take it to the ring.
His passing skills are a bit iffy.. and he has no long range game. I like him but he is atlanta’s pgotf without a doubt.
