Roy Poll

I have to make the 75 word limit just to see the results of popular opinion, so here goes:

We're panicking.  We have a talented team that is massively underperforming, and it's painful to watch.

PG:  I'm comfortable with Dre.  He's as consistent in effort and intensity as I've ever seen in an NBA player.  However, even he will get ground to a nub should NAte continue to not let Armon work through his mistakes.  Armon is flustered and trying to hard, as I see it.  His effort is there but he's trying too hard to avoid the hook.

SG:  Roy is broke-down.  He needs to come off the bench and be a clutch scorer that has steam left in the 4th.  The only way to do this is to make Matthews the starter.  Matthews has shown he plays better as a starter.  Rudy has no place I feel.  I like what he brings often-times but if Roy is to become the backup 2 as we need him to be, Rudy's minutes should dwindle.  He needs to be traded for something worthwhile in the bigs range, whether it's a high pick or an actual flesh and blood player.

SF:  This is where I feel we are in trouble the most.  Batum isn't being fed the ball when he's moving and it's effecting his effort and confidence.  He cannot continue to be a spot-up shooter.  Babbitt should be in this conversation at this point.  If he will stop jab stepping and become our spot-up man for the 3 position (Rudy is too small to be a 3) he will have value even if we have to cover him on defense til he figures it out.  Right now Matthews is playing here but he needs to be our starting 2 playing here on occasion.  I feel Dante should get a few minutes here, as well, once Pryz is back.

PF:  Aldridge is going like mad and doing his damnedest to help us win.  I was a detractor last season and a believer this one.  Camby should pick up more minutes here once Pryz is back and Dante should be serviceable should he start moving towards the basket on offense and not just handing Roy the ball back because he can't make the three-ball.

C: We'll be capable once Pryz is back... Camby can play as many minutes as he wants starting the C and backing up the PF but should get more breathers when Pryz is coming in to back him up (I believe he's gettting lethargic in the 4th and not rebounding as well.)

I sincerely believe we'll be a better team once we get Pryz back, but I am losing faith in McMillan... I don't even want to call him "Nate" anymore.  Substitution patterns and game reactions need to improve!
