Why, oh why does Nate always seem to call a T.O. when the Blazers are pushing the ball and have momentum? I have noted this situation time and time again over the past couple of years. Does anyone else see it, or am I imagining it?
He did it again tonight against Philly...we had things moving our way, up by 6 (I believe) after a couple of imprssive defensive stops - and we bring the ball to the front court...and call timeout. (Of course, our faithful Blazers/Comcast announcers said that it was a "good timeout" to make sure the Blazers stayed focused and didn't get sloppy once they got the lead.) Yeah, right.
I have seen this happen countless times. and It only serves to give the other team a chance to regroup! Do other coaches do this regularly and I just don't notice?
I haver not been a Nate-basher, but I am really starting to lose confidence in his decisions.
