What about Ryan Anderson?
The promising 3rd year forward out of Cal? He's mired on Van Gundy's bench, as they have decided to go with Brandon Bass at the back up PF. Anderson can score the ball from both inside and outside and rebounds fairly well. His defense, though not spectacular, is serviceable. Would love to see RC figure out a way to get him back out to the west coast. Maybe with the extra #1 we have next year..

I've got nothing against Anderson
but that just seems like a minor tweak when we need a major improvement.
Redundant?
I like Anderson also, but he seems similar to Luke Babbitt; maybe a little bit better at this point, but not so much so that Luke B can’t catch up and surpass Anderson’s skill-level.

I'd like to see the Blazers take another look at that list of names they were considering before they signed Marks.
They say the Chinese character for "crisis" is the exact same as that for "opportunity". This means the Doberman of Destiny has just visited the Blazers' house and left a big, fat, stinkin' pile of opportunity on their living room rug. - Dave
Agreed, LaMarvelous.
Not sure why we didn’t look at Dwayne Jones more, but I totally agree.
'Mar-cus Cam-by' (clap-clap, clap clap clap). - Rose Garden

I would prefer a trade for the King's
Jason Thompson. He is starting now though but he was coming off the bench at the very start of the season. I can’t see Pryzbilla playing more than 15 minutes effectively and Camby needs to rest up some more and isn’t advisable to play him at backup PF as well. And its clear that Dante isn’t a good enough backup PF, he’s too short to rebound well and defend the other team’s bigs. I love his energy but he hasen’t shown any improvement from last season. He has not improved much on his jumpshot either, we just need more from him and we aren’t getting. Having a tweener forward that can’t rebound or defend bigger players is a luxury we can’t afford. Anyways less and less teams are playing smaller forwards at the 4 these days, that fad might well be over. To me we need a better offensive big man than Camby and Pryzbilla, we can’t rely only on LMA for offense. I’d trade a 1st round pick for JT.
I'd like Jason Thompson
maybe a 1st rounder with Babbit and throw in about 6 mil
A coaching change is needed. Nate isn't effectively utilizing the talent we have.
