Some years back I was convinced we’d be winning titles with our once in a generation center, our All Star SG, and an elite PF. Now we know none of these things are true, and that the 8th spot and one and done would be a tough thing to reach at this point. Pretty damn sad, I’ll never stop loving my Blazers but I sure wish it would be our time just once before I check out. Too young to remember ’77 title really, and since then a few close but no cigar moments. I had been hoping for some sort of consolidation trade for a while turning our young talent into a proven veteran star(s) as the Celtics did, but that seems to be a long shot now that Oden is on surgery number 100, and by all accounts Roy seems to be essentially done as a star…Here is to hoping we can somehow turn the lemons we have been given into the best damn lemonade of all time.
