So the Wizards obviously have Wall and Arenas, both point gaurds and unless they can get Gilbert to play the 2 alongside Wall (which I doubt), they run the risk of having a $17million player (Arenas) ride the pine. Arenas is a good players (some may even argue 'great') but nobody's going to trade for his 4 year, $17million/season contract. Anyone, however, would drop their first born off on the Wizard's porch for a shot at Wall.
Think they'd ever go for it?
Here's an example (warning: it's trading BRoy, so prepare yourself for that...)
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=28oejwq
Washington gets Carmelo and Armon Johnson (Melo and Arenas can thug it up in D.C.)
Devner gets B. Lopez, K. Hinrich and A. Miller
NJ Nets get Roy and Cunningham
Portland gets Wall, Troy Murphy and Ty Lawson.
Biggest likely problem: Nets not taking BRoy and Cunningham for Murphy and Lopez
End result for Blazers:
5. Camby/Przybilla
4. L.A./Troy Murphy
3. Batum/Babbitt
2. Matthews/Fernandez
1. Wall/Lawson
Plus maybe Paul Allen will pay Greg $9 million (plus luxury tax) to rehab again and we can put him in when he's healthy....maybe.
