So, I think SO's junk got a little loaded and now is underperforming. This is a new junk, same as the old one.

On a personal note, yesterday was just really tough. I wouldn't wish the situation of Greg, The Blazers, or any of us fans on anyone. It's truly a cruel twist of fate that finds us where we are today. While many people have given up though, I'm just not willing to do it. I've seen this happen before, and I guess if you're really a Blazer fan, logic is not a driving force in our compulsion to root for our team. I remember Bowie, I remember the finals in '90 and '91, I remember June of 2000, and I've seen players come and go. I love this team, and I didn't even stop loving this team when it was a bunch of bad guys. I have and will continue to be a Trailblazer fan, and nobody can stop me, neither on this team nor any else.

That said, I still like Greg Oden. I still think he can be awesome. I still think his story is not written. I still think he deserves his health, and we still deserve his health. I think the Blazers have to keep him. I think we and him are inexorably linked, and we have to ride this out to the end together. I think if it goes south for sure, it goes south badly. If it goes well, we share in the glory. I don't care what anybody says about him, our town, this team or me.
