Thank you, thank you, thank you everybody!  And welcome!  Welcome to Know Your Contracts, the show in which rumors are laid aside and facts are made clear.  All of our Internet contestants seem to be ready, so let's dive right in.

Now, every episode of our show has a theme and here comes the lovely Carol Merrill with the envelope containing today's theme....thank you, dear....OK, contestants, today's theme is:

Expiring contracts for the Portland Trailblazers

OK, now each of our contestants will have the opportunity to evaluate the five statements on the board that relate to today's theme.  Each of these statements can be put into one of three categories:

A) True

B) False

C) We don't have enough information to make a definitive statement of either true or false

These statements are to be evaluated by what we know today.  And the assumption is that no change takes place in their status - that is to say, no unexpected extension is offered to any player, no trades are made that involve the player, etc.  The statements are to be evaluated based on the player's current status.

Statement 5: Patty Mills has an expiring contract and will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.  Even if Portland wants to retain his services as a player, he could leave to sign with another team.
