Jeff, you were only here for one year but in that time, you gave us your all. Nobody would have expected you to even touch the floor, but as the bigs fell last year, you stepped right up. We will always be grateful for the heart, toughness and determination that you brought to the team, especially in the face of such adversity. Nobody in this town is happy about you leaving, and we all wish you the very best in your rehab and your future endeavors. We will miss your energy and your enthusiasm, and I for one would welcome you back in a heartbeat. You exemplify everything that we as fans want from our players on a personal level, and you have done your part in restoring the Trailblazers name.
