Portland Trail Blazers big man Jeff Pendergraph reports on Twitter that he traveled to Chicago to receive a second opinion on his injured knee.
Today has been a little quiet but its been a big day in Chicago. Getting second opinion on knee. Back to pdx tomorrow
In an Oct. 12 interview with Mike Barrett and Mike Rice on Blazers Courtside, Pendergraph said he hadn't set a surgery date and wasn't yet sure whether one or two surgeries would be necessary on his torn right ACL.
Pendergraph suffered the injury during a preseason game against the Utah Jazz and broke the "out for the year" news on Twitter the next day.

In response to questions from fans about the medical second opinion, Jeff Pendergraph writes on Twitter...
he just confirmed everything I thought.... no surgery yet. With in the next couple weeks. Want leg as close to normal as possible
