Ric Bucher
Ric Bucher has no idea what he's talking about. He claims that Nate not signing an extension shows that the Blazers are falling apart, when in fact, Nate never signs extension so he has to prove himself every season. This kind of reporting just makes me angry because national readers don't know that and will just take his word for it. Spreading a negative image about a team that already struggles to gain respect from the rest of the nation.

This is an Insider article, here is the link to espn if you have insider and want to read it there.
Mike Rice: "Camby nearly rejected that with his Armpit!"
Mike Barrett: "Now that would be a fragrant foul."
I heard years ago Nate didn't want to be another coach who signs a huge coaching deal only to not earn it and be let go.
Nate has money, he isn’t coaching for the money. Being that coach that steals money and doesn’t get the job done ruins your reputation.
Frau Bucher!
Whineeee-eeey!!! Clop-cloppity-clop!
Now all we need is the rest of the roster to get into "how can everybody help Nicco and Oden" mode. -- Oden Mad, Oden Smash! Sep 29, 2010 7:47 PM

classic flick with so many great actors and a great script
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!

National coverage of Blazers is weak, but I like it that way. Can’t stand typical NBA hype in the national media. What these folks say never matters, it’s all on the court.
It’s sort of like my perspective on the Thunder. I can see that KD is a legit MVP candidate, and Westbrook is solid. Beyond that, their roster doesn’t do much for me, but maybe that’s because I haven’t seen them enough. If I were to write an article about the Thunder at this point, I’d say something like: I don’t see what all the hype is about, beyond one person on the roster. But probably about as informed as others are about the Blazers. Luckily, I don’t have to do this for a living — if I did, I would probably frequently end up looking like an ill-informed hack. ESPN writers, not so lucky, hence their appearance.
