Kevin Pritchard on Shavlik Randolph

+

At practice this morning I asked Kevin Pritchard about his short-term plans given the team's injury situation, the availability of two injury exemptions and the ability to sign players to non-guaranteed 10-day contracts. Blazersedge: "You said Rudy Fernandez will be back in 7-10 days. Will you look to make a move in the short term prior to getting Rudy back?" Kevin Pritchard: "We'll look at something. Shavlik [Randolph] is on our radar again. I think he clears [waivers] tonight. And then we'll look at Shavlik [Randolph] maybe tomorrow." Blazersedge: "Were you surprised by any of the names or the quality of talent that came available at the deadline this year? More than you expected?" Kevin Pritchard: "I think it's about the same. I didn't feel -- I actually felt a little less [talent this year]. I think it just depends on the financial, how teams are feeling and whether they want to make moves, wanting to save money. If I was going to say, I'd say it probably felt pretty normal." -- Ben Golliver | benjamin.golliver@gmail.com | Twitter
