John Hollinger says that Jose Calderon is killing the Raptors because of his defense. I was thinking back about how, when the blazer's yearning for a point-guard of the future was at a Fever Pitch, Jose Calderon seemed like a dream option. I was absolutely for this and thought he would be fantastic for us. But it got me thinking about our current roster and making trades and how there are no sure things. I suppose you can't make absolute judgements about single instances of players not panning out, but it certainly makes me weary when thinking about making a trade for someone who seems like a sure thing and isn't. Thoughts on Calderon and Hindsight vision?
