No secret message today folks, but for your viewing pleasure we have Jets-Colts and Saints-Vikings on tap. Now I can't stand Brett Favre, and only a grinch could root against the city of New Orleans, so the NFC rooting interest is an easy one for me - Geaux Saints! Unfortunately, I don't think there is anybody who can block Jerred Allen, so I think the Vikings take it, which unfortunately, will involve Joe Buck making love to Brett Favre all game long.
The AFC game is a nice contrast of styles. The Colts are a first class, albeit slightly boring, operation, while the Jets are straight up swaggertastic, in a good way. I also, despite my best efforts, am really starting to like Mark Sanchez - takes all the blame when the team loses, deflects credit to the other guys when they win, that's a QB I can get behind. He's ruined my initial impression of him as a stereotypical USC tool, but I still have Favre to hate on. The Colts should win, but the Jets could make this interesting.
