Someone needs to tell John
that Portland has 52+ mil already committed in salaries for 2010 (depending on Joel’s decision) and KP isn’t going to gut what’s left of his roster in hopes of enticing LBJ next July, no matter how much PA wants him
if Canzano is fishing for a topic or his afternoon show tomorrow, this is a non-starter
When reached 40 years of following Portland basketball you have, be as passionate of the Trail Blazers you will not!
WOW
I thought it was a bit absurd to have a fanpost on the very same topic on our own sidebar….
As was said in that discussion: We couldn’t even convince Hedo Turkoglu to come here….
Canzano has hit a new low
...
“LeBron is just so darned dominant.”
I highly doubt Allen actually muttered this sentence.
Canzano, go to another market, please?

He didn't own the team when that draft occurred

Me too as I am boycotting the Snoregonian sports page
especially Quick and Canzano
What happened to this season???? It went under the surgeon's knife. But its not over yet. Hold tough. This team will be battle hardened. Tough. Honed to a fine edge. They will be playing playoff style – nine man rotation – for a significant portion of the season. Dividends will be paid. - Tiparillo on Dec 15, 2009 11:48 AM PST on Game 26 Preview: Kings vs. Blazers on Blazersedge
Next time you post something, please be more descriptive.
If I knew what this was about, I wouldn’t of wasted my mouse click. It is a joke, though. (Sigh.)
I might throw something soft and perishable if I ever got the chance
at John.

We could get LeBron in a sign-and-trade
That way, at least Cleveland gets some value out of him.
Stocking up talent for lop-sided sign-and-trades is the alternate strategy to dumping cap space and I think it’s the more viable one. I mean, what superstar wants to go to a place without other talent?
The point about back-water Portland is still pertinent. I don’t think we have a chance to get LeBron because he will want to be in a large media market. There are money-making possibilities in NY and LA just not available in Portland. Plus, he would have even more minutes of fame = even more shoe (etc) sales in a bigger market.
Clownzano looks more and more foolish with every article.
Pklym please let us know beforehand that you’re going to link to a Clownzano article. A large contingent of people on here don’t like to give him hits.

It's awfully depressing that we can't even dream about it happening.
Let the guy dream.
