You've Been Quoted
Link.
When contacted by Allison Ferre, the article's author, for my thoughts, I contributed, "Ms. Haarlow is a true professional and talented communicator; her camp sounds like a great opportunity for those looking to learn more about sports broadcasting."
A few of you guys made the cut and I didn't. :(

That 32 year old guy in the article is hilarious
I wonder if he signed up just to meet Ms. Haarlow?

I prefer Teen Magazine myself.

Next week I’ll be announcing my camp for sarcastic sports blog posting.
Oooo, can I be a counselor???

Is this a cross promotion with sidelinehotties.com? The Internet, filling niches you didn't even know existed since 1990.
While that thread went out of bounds back in the day, I wonder what comments Oregonlive would have produced for an article about Rebecca’s camp. Hope the camp was a success for everyone involved since it was pricey.
There's Gotta Be More To Life
Life is stranger than fiction
I remember when I first heard that RH was going to be doing this. I sat staring at the screen, my mind in a daze. What does this mean, I thought? Has my thinking really become that flawed?
In a little while my mind cleared somewhat; I was able to get back to thinking about that evening’s game. And that is when it happened, they started talking about it again and I have not been the same since. Up until the moment I saw this post, I had come to the conclusion that I was being drugged.
There is more to an athlete than how fast they can run, they also better be able to see what they are doing and know why they are doing it.

Worse?
I thought this line from the article was a pretty funny back-handed slap:
After two days of sports broadcasting camp, some declare Haarlow’s job challenging.
(emphasis mine)
Never forget: I am a complete idiot
Whoa, never thought I'd see Allison Ferre's name on BE
She was in my graduating class from Gonzaga this year. I worked with her on the Gonzaga Bulletin student newspaper…

Ah
She’s teaching them to adore LMA. That’s funny. Also, dear “journalists”, both those attending camp and those who have already “made it”, please do not use ad hominem quotes from anonymous blog comments – no matter how devilishly clever they are. It makes you look like a real Haarlow out there.

I suppose we should feel lucky that we didn't have that page linked to in that article
While what they posted for comments was somewhat harsh, there were other, more offensive (to others outside BE) posts from what I recall…
