good points from both of you on Ricky/Kahn, but I’m more with KP2— Kahn went for the home run and drafted BPA. They weren’t going anywhere in the next 2 years anyway. They can still trade him or even bring him in 2 years from now. Love the offer sheet he made to Sessions also.
I will definitely look into buying KP2’s book.
Man I always time these podcasts so they end right at the end of work
But I’m always here a few minutes extra because I’ve got to listen to Cam’ron’s S.D.E. in its entirety.

Audio note
I’m half way through so I can’t comment on the content yet.
I had to change to something else while driving because I couldn’t hear the podcast even with my iPod at max volume. If you need a benchmark, I changed to the Dan Patrick show and I had it at about 75% of max volume while driving. I was driving with the windows open in a car that is not as loud as a Harley but it does set off car alarms in parking garages.
Good Stuff
I listen to a lot of NBA podcasts, and yours is getting better and better each episode…even if you do have to mention the Storm multiple times throughout. I’m lovin’ the format and R&B cuts intertwined. Please keep the discussion & music cuts tame (i.e. no cussing, etc). I’d like it to be family friendly in case little ones walk in while I’m listening.
Nice job, guys
I especially enjoyed the discussion about the moves being made by David “What do you mean this isn’t a fantasy league?” Kahn. And, oh, yeah, he made yet another trade today….he’d better hurry up because he still has players on the roster that were on the team in 2008-09 and there’s only a month until the preseason to unload them…..
A point not made is that when Kahn made the Miller/Foye for #5 trade, who was he gunning for? Indications are that he didn’t think Rubio would still be on the board. My gut feeling is that he wanted Harden, and lost out on that when OKC took him. So the trade itself was not the worst thing in the world. Drafting both Flynn and Rubio left me confused as to what he was trying to accomplish. And now that he won’t see Ricky for 2 or 3 years? The Wolves need help today, not down the road. I’d rate Kahn low, not for making the initial trade, but for seemingly being so stubborn that he’s going to hang onto Rubio’s rights instead of getting something now out of that Miller/Foye trade.
As for Sessions, is anyone going to really be surprised when Milwaukee doesn’t match the offer sheet? Ben – really? You didn’t see this coming when the Bucks let Charlie V. walk for nothing and drafted Jennings to be their next PG project? Of course the Bucks aren’t going to pay luxury tax. And they blew their chance to be fiscally responsible with that extension to Gadzuric.
Regarding Kahn hanging onto Rubio's rights
What else is he supposed to do? I’ve only heard stuff from the Knicks and no one on that team is going to hell Minny. Not to mention Minny is going to be in the lottery for the next 3 years anyhow all Rubio would have done was gotten a few more people to the games.
