What Will Happen To Patty Mills?

As we know Patrick Mills injured his foot before preseason even began. Patty is a fantastic but with the addition of Andre Miller, PG's are deep on the team. I'm sure Patty Mills is and will be a better player then Bayless......but will he ever get a chance to play in a blazers uniform? Or will we miss one of the best talents of the year? Does anyone have recent news on him?

So sad.

Andrea Miller?

When did we sign her? lol…

Seriously though, he’ll be stashed overseas for a couple years

He is better than Jerryd Bayless?

I wouldn’t bet on that.

The Kings have the best bench I’ve seen. There are easily 14 guys on this team good enough for every bench in the league. Now if we could only get some starters, I’d totally jizz in my pants.

Better point guard? I bet he is.

I remember reading a scouting report, back before the draft

it said that Mills was a SG in a PG’s body

the same has been said about Rex, but Jerryd is 6’3 and has superior lower-body strength

it’s a shame that Patty got hurt but as KP said the day after the draft “Mills has a passport”

I would’ve liked to see him play in Vegas, but we saw Pooh Jeter instead (there’s another player who’s waiting for the “perfect” NBA opportunity to come around…) There’s more of a chance for “little PGs” to get a chance in the NBA than in the past with the hand-checking rules being what they are. But that same scouting report said that while Mills has great straight-ahead speed, he doesn’t have much “wiggle” to his half-court penetration

That will have to change for Patty to make anybody’s NBA roster, in the future

The one-year, minimum-level tender will be a non-guaranteed deal, though, so Patty Mills could sign ...

it and watch the Portland Trail Blazers immediately waive him for financial reasons. I’d actually do this if I were Mills, for that’d make him similar to an undrafted free agent who could sign with any team once he’s healthy at around mid-season.

Stupid people have stupid ideas.

as balzersfansince1970 pointed out we have to offer him some deal each summer to retain his rights.

IMO he will play in Europe for a few years until he has worked out some of the flaws in his game

Life is exhausting when you are this stupid.

I will talk about DeJuan Blair no more forever

More likely Australian, since he's actually from there.

Could we get Leslie Neilson thrown into the deal?

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
