Ramon Sessions signs with the Timberwolves.
4 years 16 million

Apparently the Bucks aren’t expected to match, which seems weird to me, but not as weird as the T-Wolves having Flynn, Sessions, and Rubio.

Kahn's in a great position.
He’s got a couple of years to sort out who to keep and who to trade, and then he gets a good player for one of them.

It's sound business strategy
You corner the market on a commodity (here, point guards for Minnesota) and watch as everyone who wants one has to come to you hat in hand!

Stock-piling PGs?
I was thinking the same thing. The fact that they have no SG worth mentioning, of course won’t have them begging for anything. :-)
right now I'd rather have Miller
and in a couple of years, maybe offer Rudy for Rubio?
or…Devin Harris

Sounds good to me.
Having a legit starting PG is obviously way more important than a backup SG.

I know everyone says Milwaukee wont match.
But I think there’s around a 30% chance that they do. It’ll put them over the luxury tax, but they only get penalized if they end the season over the luxury tax. Three million might not be that hard to shed. Bucks have been playing their hand very close to the vest on this one. It’ll be interesting to see their cards on the Wolves’ call.
μὴ φοβοῦ, μόνον πίστευε.
It's so cheap
Luxury tax or not. Save it some other way (not that I know their situation enough to know that way).
That’s a great deal for a guy who is at least a good, young backup. MATCH IT, BUCKS.

for mil a year is cheap for Sessions. I don’t get why he can’t get more than that from somebody…
RT: Three million might not be that hard to shed
it’s too bad they don’t have a team option on Joe Alexander until next season
they could always deal Kurt Thomas and their unprotected 2010 1st round draft choice to Portland for Travis Outlaw’s expiring contract
You see? Problem solved ;^)

then the Blazers use that #1 pick to select John Wall
how fabulous are my dreams?
