Video: A Few Minutes With Jeff Pendergraph
A wise man once told me to seek out the rookies on Media Day because they'll be the most honest people in the building.
Here's Jeff Pendergraph chatting about his current health, what he'll do during training camp, his crutch-wielding skills, what it's like to be surrounded by such a talented group of teammates and, perhaps most hilariously, he acts out what it was like going into and coming out of the anesthesia during his hip surgery.

Thanks.
Great interview.
I know Pendy isn’t a big deal yet one way or another, but I’m happy that he doesn’t seem to be the type of guy to mess up anything we have.

Nice Interview, Ben.
Good questions, nice to see that he speaks pretty well. I’m going to attribute that to 4 years of college.

I like this kid a lot
Funny, well spoken, great attitude. I hope he can get minutes because he’s going to be fun to root for. I especially like the comment about not giving the jersey away because nobody else in the NBA in named Pendergraph. It’s mine!
Still on the Rex bandwagon.

Ben, great interview... BUT!
A few short steps to staying in focus:
1. TURN OFF AUTO-FOCUS. Auto-focus is for n00bs.
2. Use a tripod. Or if you’re trying to stay mobile, use a monopod. Monopods rule.
3. Zoom in to your subject, set your focus manually, then zoom out to the desired framing.
Booyah… you are now on your way to filmmaking genius!

thanks for the tips. wasn’t planning to do any video… but then i got stuck without my audio recorder for a few minutes. it’s only a digital camera with video capabilities… not sure it will cut the mustard. hope it wasn’t too bad.

Fun and uplifting watching that interview
Love seeing the Blazers sign guys who seem composed and aware. Martell was similar, only he had a little more ego. Jeff seems very realistic about where he is at and cool with his place in the pecking order. I hope he eventually gets some time this season (but NOT due to injury to others . . . .think blow-out wins).
put a body on 'em
