Sean Deveney ranks Blazers #6
6. Portland. Andre Miller could be the piece the Blazers are missing to get this young bunch to championship level. But by the time the young pieces reach their prime, Miller might be too old.

My top 8
1. Cleveland
2. LA
3. Orlando
4. Portland
5. Boston
6. Denver
7. San Antonio
8. Dallas
This is how I think the teams will finish the regular season, wins wise. San Antonio and Boston have too much age on their most talented players to escape injuries, I think, and those injuries will hurt in the regular season.

I would like the platoon of PhDs and supercomputers known as Norsktroll
to find the correlation between age and injury among NBA players, then determine an “injury value,” based on the average age of a team’s starters, that we can factor-in to preseason predictions.

I don't know at the moment, but subjectively I have San Antonio and Dallas above us in the West.

Okay then, just give me the over/under on when Shawn Marion first complains about Dirk Nowitzki always being the number-one option on offense.
