Great Blazer discussion, guys, as usual.
I feel bad for Casey, though. He sounds like he’s developing an inferiority complex. He spent several
minutes of the podcast putting himself down, which I thought was unnecessary and uncomfortable. Casey, just relax, okay? You’re doing fine on the podcasts, especially for what we’re paying you. I enjoy hearing your inside info and thoughts on the Blazers, but please leave the mea culpas at home next time.
Yo, Casey!
Personally, I enjoy your podcast. Even when that other guy, from the radio station, is on with you. But, since you asked, there is one thing you might could work on — having correct opinions.
I can’t help but notice that sometimes you and Dave have different opinions about stuff, and, of course, Dave is almost always right. (He’s right except when his opinions are different from mine.) This leads me to conclude that your opinions are sometimes wrong. So that would be something you could work on. But otherwise, good job!
"Just kidding"
I think that's what makes the podcast so great.
Each person has something different to provide. Gavin Dawson is the radio personality that provides radical ideas and questions for insight and discussion. Dave brings in the rational and realistic perspective and is an expert on all the Blazers financial information. Casey brings in inside info from the Blazers organization as well as what his interactions with players are like.
The Kings have the best bench I’ve seen. There are easily 14 guys on this team good enough for every bench in the league. Now if we could only get some starters, I’d totally jizz in my pants.

Ding Ding Ding
We have a winner! That’s exactly the setup and what makes things click. That and I really like and respect both gentlemen. These guys are dynamic, intelligent, and articulate. I think because of the limitations of the format that doesn’t always come through as much as it should. That makes me a little sad, but it’s hardly their shortcomings. Inside tip: making a three-person booth work when one of those persons is long distance and can’t see or react to the others is extra tricky. About 20% of the potential content and 50% of the potential interactions get lost in the shuffle on any given day. Having talked to these guys for years now and knowing what they’re like and how they analyze stuff I’m pretty convinced that if you threw us into a TV studio and just let us go for half an hour a week the show would blow your socks off. But podcasting is what we do, so we make the most of it we can.

I think Stacy will be more creeped out than in awe.
but that’s just my opinion. Who knows how good of a catch the elusive Dave from Idaho really is.

I love the podcasts.
Love them.
Love Casey’s voice (Is that super creepy of me?), love Dave’s sound logic. It’s the nicest, most rational, sports talk ever. I’m going to record it onto cassette and then play it on my bedroom stereo while I fall asleep. Soothing.

Just got done listening
Casey sounds like he has bad posture while on the podcast and Dave sounded like he was cold.
