I would love to see video of Travis playing man on defense...

but maybe that’s like the video footage of a hole in one at the local golf course. No one sees it and no one will ever believe you.

I don’t mean to bash, but this entire video showed him training on things that were already part of his game. I don’t think he has the tools to play strong team defense, but if he morphed into any kind of defensive presence, that’s how he’s gonna get paid next year.

he was working on his jumper alot in the video

but he also did work on at least one new move that I can’t remember him doing at all last year, the in the lane floater. About half way through the video he shows it, and practices a bunch of different ways to get it off. If this leads to Travis driving more, instead of settling for the pull up jumper, then I am all for it.

Yes you do mean to bash.

That’s like saying: “No offense Dash, but your profile picture looks like it was drawn by a retarded kitten, no offense”.

What this is getting deleted?? But I said no offense!!

Good point

I suppose to see anything meaningful on the defensive end we’ll have to wait until training camp starts. Though apparently my comments were taken as harsher than they were intended, I believe Travis has it in him to dramatically improve his overall game. I just suspect he doesn’t understand what that entails.

As far as the first comment line of my comment, I’m a little disappointed that it wasn’t taken for the humor it was intended as. If you read it carefully you’ll see its much more a comment on the perception of Travis’ game than about the man himself.

that's true

and i’m a little disappointed that you didn’t take my comment for the humor it was. If you read it carefully you’ll see its much more a comment about your drawing skills than you yourself.

I'll tell you what,

Travis sure can go to his right. A lot. I don’t think I saw him take more than one left handed dribble at a time. That said he was working on some deep inside moves and the floater, but being able to take two dribbles to his left would be a handy skill to have.

It wasn't the first time I'd been kicked in the cherries and called a rat by a woman, but it was the first time I didn't mind.

ya he did a couple times

that left dribble hisitation then push left handed to the rack. Its a solid move if he’s looking to keep his man off balance.

by DephlatorMouse on Aug 28, 2009 12:06 PM PDT up reply actions

That's something.

Sure would be nice if he could just power through to his left, though.

Thanks.

Go Travis!

He looks a bit bigger to me.

He is working on his handles

Maybe he can develop a crab-dribble ;)

Lay off guys

Judging from who he’s playing with, this is just more of a light workout to maintain his shot.

The Kings have the best bench I’ve seen. There are easily 14 guys on this team good enough for every bench in the league. Now if we could only get some starters, I’d totally jizz in my pants.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
