Which home game would you choose?
I have the option to get 2 tickets to ANY home game of the 2009-10 season - so many great games to choose from, but the standouts seem like:
Cavs
Nuggets on Christmas night
Home opener vs. Rockets (less exciting w/o Artest, Von Wafer, Yao)
Which one would you choose?? I'm leaning towards Lakers, mainly b/c we tend to play them so well, and I'd much rather see a W vs. LA than a L vs. CLE. Obviously no guarantees, but still...
That Xmas night Nuggets game would be pretty sweet as well.

I don't think this is much of a debate
You go see Cleveland, because everyone should see Lebron in person whenever they get the chance, and you see LA so that you can see the Blazers kick the L*kers ass. It seems pretty simple to me, but again I have season tickets, so I don’t have the debate you have.
I want Greg Oden to tuck me in at night and tell me stories about the old times
I can only get one, though...
I’m in a group of season ticket holders, I’m in for a 1/4 season but the way we draft games works, I’ll only get ONE of the “big” games.
I think Lakers makes the most sense, Kobe’s another one you need to see play once, and I never have, and he’s 30. Lebron’s gonna be around for awhile so hopefully I can catch him next year… :)
Go with LA and SA
Those are two of the games I hope to attend this season. Although the last game I went to was game 1 of the playoffs, so maybe I would go to the opener and watch the Blazers beat on anyone wearing a Rockets jersey. Definitely go to the LA game, though, and be LOUD!!!
L.A. and Denver on Christmas
l*kers vs blazers is a no brainer every year, and Christmas games only come up once a year if you get lucky..

bingo
Anyone who has not been to a PDX vs. LA showdown in the garden has missed out BIG TIME. They are always the best games of the year. The crowd gets so into it, and you get to watch the bandwagon LA fans cry and leave early every time.
Christmas games are also fun, and being against the nuggets means its going to be pretty exciting.
yea,
I would agree. I personally love opening night games myself, but I think in this case the christmas game is more important and may end up matching two of the 3 teams with the best records in the WC.

Lakers games are good
There’s always something special about the home opener too. I’d go for that over the Christmas game.
L*kers and Cavs.
L*kers cause those are always fun games to be at. Cavs because of LeBron. Even if the Blazers lose, it will be exciting. I overpaid a scalper for a ticket to last years game. The Blazers lost, but LeBron almost put up a triple double. It was worth overpaying.
You can only go to one game, right?
I think people are confused by the “2 tickets” part, but it sounds like that is two tickets to one game…
I would say the Laker game… the feeling in the Rose Garden after beating the Lakers is priceless.
Lebron for sure
The cavs only come once a year, where you can watch LA at least twice most years. Lebron is unreal to watch live for how big and athletic he is. Then there is Shaq that only has a couple years left to even watch play. so for this year, its got to be Cleveland.
L@kers fo sho.
The Kings have the best bench I’ve seen. There are easily 14 guys on this team good enough for every bench in the league. Now if we could only get some starters, I’d totally jizz in my pants.
Kings fan
Lakers without a doubt
No other game at the rose garden, no other team, nothing is comparable to a lakers game.

Nugs just so you can hold the sign......."Blaze the nuggets"
No just cause were both gonna be good teams and it will be christmas and division rivals and last time we played them we stomped them and jr smith is a punk and billups vs dre dre and i love to hate the birdman but he is acually cool in an uncool way and rebecca harlow will probably wear nugget blue.
I brought a sign to the Denver game last year that said "Toast them frosty Nugs"
Great minds think alike, but unfortunately so do shallow ones.

laker games are truly spectacular.
I went to the first one last year and it was an absolute joy to watch. We will annihilate the lakers again this year.

hmmm
opening night usually has some giveaways. I have a hate from last year which is pretty cool except for the ugly wells fargo logo.
The laker game will likely be the most intense game you’ve been to. Go if you’re going to be on the edge of your seat booing and cheering.
The Celtics game was pretty good last year, but nothing will compete with the lakers game for crowd energy.
"Fernandez, to my eyes, is the Blazer who walks that walk most comfortably. A lot of Portland's fans (egged on, dare I say, by their local broadcasters) lament things like how Ron Artest or Yao Ming get to hit Brandon Roy's arms.
But I suspect Fernandez sees all that and thinks: We get to hit arms! Cool!"

Lakers for sure.
You’ll pay for the whole seat, but you’ll only need the eddddddgggeeee!

to doubt about it .... Cavs
they come in here once and it would be a great chance for us to breakout nationally….plus iv never seen lebron or shaq live
Cavs and Boston
They only come once and the game against Boston was magical. Plus, I think this is the year they finally beat Lebron and co.
