Brandon Roy, Seahawk fan.
Well, at least he went to a practice. See the second paragraph.

It WAS rather underwhelming.....
I don’t know WHY the author focused on football. After all, it was Brandon freaking Roy.

A favorite Roy comment
Someone asked him who he wanted in the Super Bowl last year and he picked the Cardinals because the NFL screwed over the Seahawks against the Steelers. Love that he’s a fan just like us.

I have never liked the hawks, niner fan, but now that they got three ducks I got to at least not wish bad things on them

I liked the "Largent version" of the Hawks
but I’ve been Viking’s fan before there was an NFL franchise in Seattle, and it’s hard to root for any team that plays up in H*sky-land. And now that the Hawks are in the NFC they’re just another rival that Minnesota needs to roll over in the playoffs
I did think that Seattle got “jobbed” in that Super Bowl

Of course he's a Seahawks fan
They’re owned by the same guy that just guaranteed Brandon Roy 80 million dollars.

Maybe he's making an extra $10M as a Seahawks "consultant," ha ha.

just keep your body parts far away from the sidelines, Brandon
we don’t need to hear about Roy getting “rolled up on” at the end of a tackling drill

a little more detail here
Former Garfield High School and University of Washington basketball star Brandon Roy was involved in this one. No, the Seahawks have not signed the current Portland Trail Blazers all-star to be their equivalent of Larry Fitzgerald.
But Roy did watch practice from the sideline and, after taking a lateral on a punt return, Nate Burleson broke to that same sideline and then pointed at Roy.
