Frye has been a somewhat popular free agent for a few reasons: He's big, young, unrestricted and should come cheap. The contest for his services seems to be down to the Cavs and Blazers.

Really? Ford thinks the Blazers are one of two teams in the running for Frye’s services. This is either bad information or Pritchard wants to make sure someone gets Pritch-slapped this summer. Will this move result in hair palms?

or frye is awesome as a person

and kp told him if he doesnt get a good contract somewhere else he is always welcome to come back as an ambassador for the team. but not to expect any playing time.
