Impressive. Hopefully it’s just one of those things that looks good on paper but doesn’t end up panning out.
Less than the MLE
Everyone seems to be adding POWER back into their PF position.
I really, REALLY hope the Blazers do, too. Bass is still available at this point.
Ironic how a team with No Cap Room
Got the 2 players most of us who thought we needed a backup PF wanted the most. The team with no cap room got Mcdyess and Blair and the Blazers are still twidling their thumbs and talking about a SF that got away still.
SA has a great organization.
Remember they had identified Batum for their draft pick.
They are building for a run this coming season.
It looks like the Blazers are not tuning in for that POWER Forward.
Our organization passed on Blair and “never had him on the board”.
It looks like we are going for that BIG name…… maybe LEE (big mistake I think if true).
Or, another BIG name off of another team.
Would have been great on the Blazers - maybe not for 3 years though
He was always my number one potential backup PF. Guy works hard and gets boards.
That does look like a pretty good line-up – but very likely to get worn down and/or injured. All but Parker are old and/or have knee problems.

Or, maybe he thought the SW Texas city was named after him?
