Ugh.
We should be distancing ourselves from that term, not embracing it.

I completely agree.
How is it beneficial to the blazers organization to have this term floating around for other GM’s to see? Then the sportstalk radio guys get on it and it seeps into SB Nation sites and all of a sudden… no trade for you!!!

Absolutely agree
It’s not only played out, but it’s pretty disrespectful to the league.

No offense.
But Pritch-slap is probably the lamest term ever.

i totally did not realize
how far out of favor this term has fallen.
i don’t want in any way for my actions to suggest that i endorse or make any excuses for violence – especially domestic violence – and apologize for those who find the term offensive for that reason. i understand that argument, even though i find this particular term to be clever and mostly harmless.
regardless of my personal feelings, i’ll do my best to curb my use of the term on this site. and rest assured, GoBlaze, no offense taken; it was my bad, not yours.
go blazies!

It's cool.
Tons of people use it all the time. It’s just a little overdone and apparently even Pritchard has said he hates it. I think it just suggests a little bit of arrogance on our part. I love our general manager and everything, but it’s gonna rub people the wrong way if we throw it everyone’s face.
I like the picture btw. Just not the term.

no offense taken at all.
and that is a pretty funny picture. don’t get me wrong I enjoy your work, I’m just sayin’ we should ban the term from the blazer lexicon.

Where have I seen this before?
Hmm, this picture looks oddly familiar for some reason. :) -———————>>>>>
