as if I needed another reason to hate the celitcs.
I don’t know how I’m gonna be able to stomach watching the blazers play those guys. between sheed and kg’s mouth theres not a lot of room for actual basketball…
The Blazers as a whole are far more like my wife than like me in the sense of their physicality on defense.

True...
but Sheed still makes the Celtics more likable, not less.

nope
I will now be even more excited for blazer games and cheer even harder for every basket from our team. I’ve got no ill-will towards blazers who are on different teams now, however the jail blazer era players I don’t respect because they were simply bad people. Miles/Zbo/Wallace all were overpaid and didn’t even appreciate the situation choosing to disrespect the city that tried so hard to embrace them.

really? are you guys not sabonis fans?
or do you just choose to overlook the disrespect sheed had for him? throwing a towel in the guy’s face? sabonis was a class act and that was a classless act. unfortunately, that was just one example of the BS sheed pulled in portland. but I guess he was really talented so thats enough. CTC, right guys?

He may have been a bad person
but he was bad in an entertaining way.
Keep in mind that everything I know about basketball I learned on Blazers Edge.

Big deal.
Throwing a towel at someone is not something to get worked up about. Certainly not something to hold against a guy like nine years later. Towels are soft.
Wallace is awesome. One of the top 15 Blazers of all time easy.

i am relieved that he didn't pick San Antonio,
Don’t know if that was even an option, but I always thought pairing him and Duncan together would be deadly.. At least this way we don’t have to worry about it until the finals. Also, looks like this is going to make Big Baby more available. He might be a good pickup for the backup PF spot

Sheed is a perfect fit with the celtics gritty old detroit style play

While a lot of people would cringe...
Portland would have done well to bring him back for what the Celtics got him for. Reportedly $5.6m a year for 2 years?
I realize past history and personality makes it not possible, but basketball-wise, he solves a lot of our problems.

KG's knee will have more to do with the success of boston next season that this signing.
sheed is now a bench player. he won’t be playing much next to KG unless they want to get pounded by a center. def an upgrade over big baby for the second unit though.

Can you imagine how much yapping will be going on on the court now?
My favorite teams are the Blazers and any team that is playing the Lakers.

At least Sheed won't get down on all fours and start barking
And if he did, he’d get T’d up for it.

Maybe KG will stop that now.
It would be a TOTAL double standard to give one guy T’s, and not the other.

New rumor of Grant Hill to the Celts now.
Wow they are going to suck in a couple of years. Letting go of all the young guys, and getting guys with some serious milage.

Celtics are like the anti blazers
they are building a very good team with old proven talents
we built it from the ground up by taking risks
