Pardon The Interuption

Just a back and forth conversation about different sports topics. It’s one of my favorite shows on ESPN. Kornheiser may suck at Monday Night Football, but he’s great to watch on this show along with Michael Wilbon.

and he also confessed he wasnt in "season shape"

during Vegas…thats encouraging as he looked better than he did in April, and hes only gonna get leaner and meaner.

I just watched it.

It was like watching a Senate Judiciary Committee on Greg Oden’s injuries. Lame.

I thought it was interesting...

that Greg said he did not take any classes this summer, he enrolled but decided to focus strictly on basketball. I believe it shows some passion for the game that he may have been lacking before.

They just badgered him about his injuries

they couldn’t ask one question about his team. I liked that when they asked if he wished he would have stayed in school he said no. Obviously that is partly about money but it is also about our squad. Part of me wishes he stayed in school. I think everyone knows why.

After seeing a shrink (his word not mine)

he said he didn’t care what people thought or said about him, wasn’t going to read any comments or articles about himself in the paper, blah, blah, blah. So why is he doing interviews? He’s gotta know most of the questions are going to be about his injuries, the “perceived disappointing” performance last year, etc. Why not stay positive with only good thoughts about the future, and lay low until you can let your play do your talking?

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
