Can It Seriously Be The Penguin?
Andre Millers nickname is The Penguin!? Does anyone have anymore info on this? Can we give him a new, more gnarly sounding nickname with out offending him? Somehow, "The Penguin" nickname doesnt seem to intimidating. Any good ideas?
Comments
I wonder how/why he got it?
Its unique to say the least—but is it a diss to him or a nickname he likes?

I think that dre is a boring nickname.
The Penguin is excellent.
How about
The chartreuse mamba. Unfortunately, the much more menacing sounding black mamba and yellow mamba nicknames are already taken by a couple of other dudes in the league…

Welcome to Portland
Old Balls.
That could work too.
How about TrailPenguin?
Dre the TrailPenguin FTW!!!

Penguins!
I saw a description of Andre Miller where they referred to him as thick or pudgy or something. So maybe that’s where the nickname comes from.
The good new is, according to Wiki:
“In the water, however, penguins are astonishingly agile.”
So maybe in the water is like on the basketball court for Andre??

The Penguin?
Are the Blazers getting Burgess Meredith (thanks for the picture, timbo!) or Ron Cey? Either way, let’s all hope that Miller outplays his nickname.
