That is an interesting list
Personally I find it amusing that both Wade and Bryant didn’t rank higher. I know their back court mates are not that great, but come on, Wade alone is better than Williams/Brewer or Kidd/Terry or even Nelson/Carter, and the same can be said for Bryant.
As for Miller/Roy, 7 is about right, although I believe they are better than Williams/Brewer. But as stated above I think Wade+whoever should be above the Jazz combo, so leave Roy/Miller at 7 until they prove to be better next season.
Also not so sure that Rondo/Allen is the best in the NBA, maybe they were 2 years ago, but every minute Rondo gets better, Allen gets worse.

Guh.
Roy > D-Will
Miller > Brewer
I don’t think Utah should be ahead of Portland.

It makes NO sense that utah is ranked higher.
Roy, Aldridge, Oden, Rudy, Batum, Outlaw, Webster, Bayless, Blake, Miller, Joel... Holy crap!

People have a tendency to overrate Deron Williams
It happened this past year with Utah fans whining about Roy taking Williams’ spot on the All Star team as well as last year. Yes, he makes some pretty crossovers and is a 20/9 player, but he’s still not better than Roy.
The Kings have the best bench I’ve seen. There are easily 14 guys on this team good enough for every bench in the league. Now if we could only get some starters, I’d totally jizz in my pants.

If you look at what happens when they go against each other you see where they are coming from.

CP3 against Deron Williams?
Yeah, Williams seems to outplay CP3 every game although I don’t know the exact success. However, that’s only against CP3, which is probably from some feeling that Deron Williams has to prove he’s better than CP3. On average, I’d take Chris Paul any time over Deron Williams.

If they made a list
for BACKUP guards, blazers would be number one. we got 3 quality backup guards off the bench. (blake, rudy, bayless) does anyone else got that depth? if the list was for both starting and backups guards, i think we’re top 3 too.

Brewer is not crap
+, he’s sort of from Portland.
Our combo does beat their combo though, that I can agree on. And Nelson/Carter at number 2? Puh-leaze

I love Brewer's game.
He plays as tough around the basket as any 2 in the league.
That said, Roy+Miller > Williams+Brewer.

Sidenote,
Nate: “Right now, Blake is our starting point guard.”
he’s on 95.5 the game right now. sounds like blake is going to start and andre is going to lead a fastbreaking team off the bench.

Sounds like they don't want two penetrators to completely overlap.
Which makes sense, but will be tough to fit considering Roy will get his obligitory 36 minutes a game.

Blazers backcourt should actualy be Top 3 material
Here is my breakdown of why
1. Rondo/Allen
Rondo is good, but that’s more of a product of the players around him, he can’t shoot, and that would be exposed with any other supporting cast. Allen can shoot but the rest of his game has fallen WAY off
2. Nelson/Carter
Carter will actually be playing the 3 for them, so this isn’t really a backcourt. Nelson should be solid again this season, but we’ll have to see how he responds to the injury. The REAL backcourt here is Nelson/Pietrus, which is barely Top 10 material
3. Parker/Ginobili
All based on if Ginobili is fully healthy after the injury ,and how he responds to being a starter and playing with newly acquired Richard Jefferson, only one ball to go around. But Parker is legit and keeps them ranked high
4. Fisher/Bryant
We all know how great Kobe is, but Fisher has fallen WAY off. He had some big plays in the Finals last season, but during the season he had a pretty bad showing. Kobe keeps the duo afloat on this list, but #4 is still too high
5. Nash/Richardson
Nash is getting older, and Richardson hasn’t fit well in Phoenix. 3 years ago ,this probably would be #1, but now, #7 or 8 at best
6. Williams/Brewer
Ahead of Portland? Really? Williams is a solid player but Brewer is OK at best and somewhat incoinsistent
7. Miller/Roy
Top 10 player in the league (Roy), and a guy that averaged 16,7, and 5 last year…and they are #7???
8. Bibby/Johnson
Johnson is a stud, so this is mor eabout Bibby. Still a decent shooter and orchestrator, but no defense to be found
9. Kidd/Terry
Terry comes off the bench, so once again not they’re starting back court….Kidd is solid in his role and so is Terry, but they aren’t anywhere as dynamic as they used to be
10. Chalmers/Wade
Wade is obviously a top-5 talent, but while Chalmers is a solid defender his PG skills leave something to be desired
My List:
Parker/Ginobili
Nelson/Carter
Miller/Roy
Fisher/Bryant
Rondo/Allen
Bibby/Johnson
Nash/Richardson
Chalmers/Wade
Kidd/Terry
Williams/Brewer

we're better than Utah and Phoenix
If Ginobili is fully healthy then the Spurs tandem is the best, no question about that.
We could be better than the Lakers backcourt too and I~m not being a homer here.

We could also be at #7 because nobody has actually seen Roy/Miller play together
