Thoughts on the Oregonian's Geoffrey C. Arnold?
- I feel like the guy doesn't really like basketball
- he's "underwhelming" lol

I actually think he does a pretty nice job.
He is the Oregonian’s NBA writer, not a beat writer or columnist. Consequently, his articles often cover broader topics than those of, say, Jason Quick. Quick does a great job of providing a behind-the-scenes look at the Blazer locker room. His articles have much more depth and personality because they focus on a very specific subject. However, I like Arnold’s writing because he offers a mostly objective look at the NBA as a whole. He serves a different function than Quick or Canzano, but I still find his articles insightful.

Somehow, this FanShot left me wanting...... Some substance, any substance...

i haven’t read his articles as i tend to avoid the oregonian like the black death, but whenever arnold comes on the airwaves to share his opinion he is usually lacking in facts and/or basic knowledge.
seems like a decent enough guy, but doesn’t sound like he spends to much time doing any research or watching that much basketball for that matter.
of course, that is typical for any sports writer these days.

I think he is horrible
I would argue that 10% of the member of BlazersEdge could do a better job.
He should read BlazersEdge regularly.
