this is ridiculous. he may not be a hall of famer but atleast he is a defensive monster.

which is quite valuable

Pathetic list

Greg’s #2 after 1 full nba season, and darko is nowhere to be found.

That is a joke

Oden is not even close to being on that list. If he played for the next 10 seasons that are identical to this last one… 61 games, 9 points, 7 rebs,1.5 blocks… he wouldn’t be on that list. So why would they put him on it after putting up those numbers, as a backup, his rookie season, coming off of microfracture surgery.

That guy is an IDIOT!

I can’t believe we all gave his website hits by reading that crap. I am so stoked for Oden to prove everyone wrong and come out with the chip on his shoulder. Briant Grant needs to be hired on the coaching staff to be there every game in Odens ear reminding him to DOMINATE

Considering all

the hype surrounding Oden and the fact that he missed his rookie year and then continued to have injuries nag him in his second plus the fact that he cant stay on the floor….. that spells out bust (so far)

The writers at hoopdoctors are terrible and ALL of their articles suck.

Their power rankings especially:
http://thehoopdoctors.com/online2/2009/07/summer-2009-nba-power-rankings/
Lakers at #3(too low)
Cleveland at #4(too low)
Mavericks at #6(too high)
Nuggets #7(too high)
Hawks#8(too high)
Bulls #9(too high)
Clippers #10Too high)
Blazers#11(way too low)
Nets#28(too low)
They are clearly stupid as they put the Hawks at #8 (which is too high) above the blazers while saying if they are LUCKY they COULD reach 50 wins, while the blazers are three spots lower adding webster, andre miller, and the continued improment of roy, aldridge, and oden on top of their 54 win team! Just ignore all of their articles.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
