By "20 years"

i meant our un-interupted playoff run that came to an end during the hight of the jail blazer era. Could have probly said “Lets face it guys, the jailblazers did what no team since our expansion year could do”

I didnt see that as a cheap shot either

Like Blazerbeliever said, they are merely using us as a reference of moving forward past bad times. I think this in a way is a bit of recognition that we are headed in the right direction, and that other teams would like to follow our in our footsteps of ridding their teams of (there’s that word again) “toxic” players.

Big D from Blog-A-Bull - "Pritchard is such a genius that teams just give him players for free."

Greg Oden - The only other rookie with more than 500 points, 400 rebounds, and 65 blocks in under 1400 minutes played. Since 1946

I think it's difficult to tell what the author meant...b/c he doesn't explain

but it’s definitely easy to jump to the conclusion that he’s taking a cheapshot. Why could he not have said, “like the Blazers a few years ago, the Pacers have finally expunged the last bad apple from an era of questionable characters.” ?

At least we were honest about the name Jail

the pacer could do the same instead of naming us remeber Detroit and other teams had simular instances

Thats much more appropriate.

Yeah I didn't really get that either, is that a new thing?

And JailPacers would’ve been correct if that was what he was going for.

One thing is for certain.

We still have a number of thin skinned, over sensitive fans.

If something like this bothers you or you see it as a cheap shot, I’d say you have bigger issues to worry about than what term some Indiana journalist is using.

Thick skin could be a sign of cancer...

you should make an appointment with your dermatologist and get that checked out.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.

OK, that should just about wrap up the goaltending discussion.
