Rank the guys who should be on the 2012 Olympic Team. Roy is doing solid and in the top 10, but Oden is 36/40.

Go give Roy and Oden some number 1 votes and move Oden up from the cellar!

LMA is apparently not on this list period... guess he's not a top 40 American player.

No LMA

But yes Trevor Ariza, Stephen Curry, Shane Battier, Rajon Rondo

Oh the grief of a Portland fan

Dictated, not read. The management.

Completely ridiculous

It’s almost comical. Shawn Marion? lol

You only have to fill out top 5

Just wanted to make sure people noticed that.

by Wotan on Jul 22, 2009 4:52 PM PDT up reply actions

Yeah!!!

Steph Curry and Blake Griffin have not played in one NBA game… But LMA is not on the dream team list??

Makes no sense to me.

Big D from Blog-A-Bull - "Pritchard is such a genius that teams just give him players for free."

Greg Oden - The only other rookie with more than 500 points, 400 rebounds, and 65 blocks in under 1400 minutes played. Since 1946

Blake I can understand...

I mean Oden was on the All-Star ballot his rookie year. Number 1 picks get those privelages. But Curry… seriously? Curry over LMA as a possible Olympian? Seems odd considering LMA got invited to the camp itself.

Oh, and Curry is ahead of Oden. Shooting 30% in Summer League > 19 PER your rookie year.

C'mon BEdge!

We need to show the power here. It is the only way to fix a poll where Durant is a better Olympian than Roy, and Ariza outranks Oden.

You only have to fill in the top five.

“Vote or Die!”

They have Roy at 10 and Oden at 37.

Let’s see if we can move them up a few spaces.

by tcwoods on Jul 22, 2009 1:58 PM PDT reply actions

I'm in for 20

I generally picked him #2 and Brandon #1 or #3 so as to not make it SO blatant. Unfortunately he’s still at 37 and it seems as fast as I voted, the guys above him kept gaining points just as quickly.

I was hoping

that this post was about Oden getting 36 points and 40 rebounds in the USA select workout. Apparently this wasn’t the case.

He passed Ariza!!!

BRoy is almost past Durant

How is Durant leading Roy by 3k votes?

No I think people are just that dumb...

because if it were a bunch of people from OKC he would have more 1st place votes. Think of it this way. If AI were on the list he would be higher than any of those guys.

Next up, David West.

It looks like Oden has a comfortable lead over Ariza.

Stuffed him all the way up to 32. Eat Oden's dust Love.

Why isn’t this rec’ed up??

Roy #9 for the Beatles.

I know some others of you were out there helping him along too. Hopefully he can hold the nine spot after a bit.

Blazers Broadcasters Mike Barrett and Mike Rice re-enacted NBA referee Scott Foster's controversial goaltending call on Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who was defending Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant, during this week's edition of Blazers Courtside. Remarkably, no one was injured during the taping of this segment.
